Did collagen or gelatin help your NBE?

Did collagen or gelatin help your NBE?
April 4 2007 at 10:29 PM Lisa (Login lilmama40)
For those who take collagen or gelatin supplements, do you think they've helped? Do both ingredients do basically the same thing? I'm wondering if the success of the chicken feet eating (or soup) has to do with it containing collagen, but this is just a guess. I'm trying to re-vamp a good program for myself and wondering if it might be beneficial to add collagen or gelatin.
Any advice is welcome!
Thanks :-)

Good question Lisa,

Hope you get an answer - I'd be interested to know too. I suppose that since breasts are part connective tissue- the collagen is suppose helpe boost that.
I can't imagine that it accounts for alot of the breast though - can you? (I imagine it mostly fat and breast tissue). I'm taking marine collagen anyway - but not expecting great results from it alone.

Fengshui said she started getting great results after eating the chicken feet, didn't she?

Please everyone - help!

Hi Linz!
Yes, I know what you mean about the breast tissue and fat, I'm not sure except that it must support the actual tissue growth or something of that sort somehow. Fengshui and others have really grown due to the chicken feet, I'm just wondering if somehow there's collagen in them or what exactly it is about them that works. I don't think I could choke down the chicken feet, I'm a big baby about food that's out of the ordinary, haha! I just can't decide whether or not to add it into my program. For me if I'm taking too many things I get lazy eventually and I want to simplify it but just have the most important components there in an easy program. I started drinking 2 glasses a day of (iced) mothers milk tea as a way of getting some extra herbs in, and I'm a lazy water drinker too so it helps with that some.

Hi Lisa
Every Lisa I happen to know is a sweeetheart. There are 2 Lisa`s in this forum, you and Lisa 121 and you both are sweethearts also!!. God bless you and other Lisa for answering everynewbies question with patience.Smile

I have been taking marine collegen for a couple of weeks so it`s too early to report anything yet. But I`m not taking it for NBE. It won`t grow breasts but it could make your breast skin tighter and that could make your breasts look rounder and higher on your body(could give them a little lift)Cause you`re supplying your body with collagen which is what gives your skin it`s elasticity. I`m taking collagen for the lines under my eyes and around my mouth.(Hey I`m getting old!!!!SmileAlso my skin heals very slowly. When I get a cut or something the blemish doesn`t go away before 4-5 months, sometimes longer. When you get a wound anywhere on your skin collagen in your body rushes to that area to fix it. As you get older collagen in your body starts to decline and you start to get lines all over your body and your wounds heal much slower than when you were younger.

If you`re younger than 25 you don`t need to use it. You can begin using it after 25 as the collagen amounts begin to decline after age 25.

Collagen supplements won`t grow breast. It`ll help if your breasts are saggy or starting to sag.Good luck...

Melosh you are such a sweetheart! Thank you! Thanks for the information on the collagen too, that's helpful. Since I'm 40 it probably wouldn't hurt to take it. I'm pretty lucky with my skin but as the boobs keep growing maybe it would be helpful to keep that skin tighter. I take silica for my hair, so maybe I'll add collagen and count that as a helper for my skin in general and just stick to a few herbs for the boobs. Thanks again! :-)

Lisa
If you`re living in US you won`t find marine collagen here. It`s not sold in US. There`s something called hylunolic acid(not sure about the spelling) but it`s not real collagen. Collagen that`s derived from animals will give you real effects and those are not sold in this counry. If you`re interested in marine collagen(derived from fish) here is the link. (This is what I`m using)http://search.ebay.co.uk/marine-collagen...QQfromZR40 Good luck...

The second link - if you read all the way down at the bottom it says "Hydrolyzed Collagen Protein derived from 100% pure pharmaceutical food grade bovine collagen." Bovine = cow. It's not marine, which equals fish (or something from the sea).

I just bought some collagen and I don't know what kind it is, it doesn't say on the bottle. All it says is it has 750 mg per pill, 50 iu vitamin e, and 100 mg of vitamin c with rose hips?? I'm thinking it is probably bovine? Don't know how much I should take, also it is called Collagen wrinkle formula.

I am taking both gelatin and collagen. I am taking these together with other herbs so I cannot be certain if my nbe results are from these or the combonation of everything I am doing. But it sure isn't hurting anything. I have not hit a plateau yet. Also with the collagen I noticed within days after I started taking it that my lips had plumped out and my skin looked radiant. Even if it doesn't help with nbe I still plan to continue taking it. I can clearly see that it is having a positive effect on my skin. The gelatin has made my nails grow like crazy and they are not only long but very clear and white, healthy looking and strong.

i no longer take the collagen supplements. I don't know. They smelled reeeally bad! I don't think I took them consistently enough to notice any extreme difference. I thought it was making my lips fuller, but now I think that may have been in my head. Though it may for others. I think NBE in general makes my lips fuller (though that could be in my head too). I am taking silicon to help stimulate collagen growth. It is a liquid supplement. I just started it several weeks ago, so we'll see. I don't know if it is extremely helpful for nbe, but I basically took the collagen for my skin - not nbe. let us know what you experience with the collagen. i'm curious to hear what anyone's overall effects have been and how long it took to acheive. i'm sort of weary of the fish sources for the collagen. part of why i stopped taking it i suppose.

I only took collagen a couple of times as the capsules are so big they make me gag and the inside powder smells quite strong and has a horrible texture so quite difficult to put in food - also it's supposed to be taken on an empty stomach. I intend to go back to it if possible to at least finish the bottle but think there's only a month's supply in there which isn't enough to judge by.

I am taking the ordinary hydrolized collagen. they are just normal size 00 capsules. very easy to take 2 a day. I don't know what kind you all are taking but mine don't smell. Mine are white in color. Here is the one I take: http://www.masonvitamins.com/Product%20P...56-120.htm
It is making my complextion glowing and it did make my lips fuller straight away for sure. I have no idea if it is permanent since I haven't stopped taking them yet. I assume it would not be though.

Re: collagen question
April 17 2009, 3:11 PM

Hey Milani,

Sorry..this is going to disappoint you.

I had the same question and talked to a doctor (I like consulting people).
You can get good results consuming 3-6 grams a day (yes, I know, it's like 8 tablets). If you really want to splurge you can take up to 10 grams, but any more than that would be too much for your body to absorb.

I know it's a LOT. That's why the majority of collagen products on the market don't produce miracles and you hear negative people say, "eating collagen supplement doesn't work."

A few things about orally consumed collagen:
-The powders have be really fine. They can be best absorbed by your body if it goes through a "nano-scaled manufacturing processes".
-The most effective type is in powder form.
-The best source of collagen should come from seafood.
-Take it with Vitamin C, because Vitamin C aids collagen regeneration. So does dried longan pulps. A lot of collagen products from Japan have dried longan as part of its ingredients. They are really cheap so if you are already spending $$ on collagen, don't save money on vitamin C & dried longan.

I started the collagen 8 days ago (after my period was over) and chicken feet soup the beginning of this week. I've already gained 1/4 of an inch & I'm still dieting and I lost about 1.5 pounds in the meantime. I take 5 grams of collagen a day with vitamin C and dried longan pulps.

(I haven't received my Wonderup and haven't started with the herbal supplements because I'll be traveling for a month in May and I want to start after that. Now I'm just focused on maintaining my boobie status quo while losing weight. The gain was a total surprise.)
Like Double_Ace. I keep myself very positive and I'm a positive affirmation junkie. :p)

The collagen I'm taking right now is called Fortigel, it won the 2008 Frost & Sullivan European Health Ingredient of the Year Award (though it comes from cows, not seafood). I'm now looking EVERYWHERE on the internet to find where I can purchase it. I bought this jar through retail and it's very expensive ($75 for 100g....which is 20 days). If I can't find a good source online I don't think I'm gonna buy a second jar. I might emailed the website and ask.

Hope that helps!

Why waste money on expensive collagen supplements when you can get gelatin in poweder pretty cheap, the kind used in bakery for cakes and pastery and stuff. Gelatin is a breakdown product of collagen and both get degraded down to basic blocks aminoacids in the gut so it makes no difference. Or so I understand anyway. This way you get the right blend of aminoacids into your boody. But I think it's also important to take something that stimulates collagen production in the body, like vitamin C.

I think gelatin will definitely be beneficial, but I'm not sure if they work the same way..I just quickly googled and from reading a few articles I don't think they work the same way in our body, but it's complicated so I'm raelly not sure. I think if there are girls who can get great results from gelatin, then that's awesome! cuz yea collagen's not cheap.

It's a protein, a source of amino acids. We need proteins to grow breasts. I believe it also improves the structure of connective tissue, since connective tissue is made from it.

its what keeps the skin on our bodies tight, and without out wrinkles. Vit. C aids the production of collagen in our skin. As we get older we loose collagen, the elasticity of our skin.

suposably collagen is reccod for people 25+ as as we age our prodcution of natural collagen decreases, which keeps skin supple, youthful looking etc.

Im on collagen (BO) and cant recco it enough,it helps with skin, hair n nails growing much quicker +i massage with collagen gel which i think is also fab-very good plumpage.
I deffo think since adding collagen to my NBE routine i have grown and i look much plumper over all

What do you think about Collagen for NBE

What do you guys think to collagen-Iv been thinking about this for a while

Since massage and NBE i have realised our breasts are like sponges,it doesnt seem to matter how much boobie batter is applyed, it still soaks in.

Now iv seen products on the market with collagen in,for the face skin etc, what do you think about adding this in massage, this is what i found out, and it seems to back up my theory on it.

Collagen is the main protein of connective tissue in animals and the most abundant protein in mammals, making up about 25% of the total. It is one of the long, fibrous structural proteins whose functions are quite different from those of globular proteins such as enzymes. Strong, tough bundles of collagen called collagen fibers are a major component of the extracellular matrix that supports most tissues and gives cells structure from the outside, but collagen is also found inside certain cells. Collagen has great tensile strength, and is the main component of cartilage, ligaments, tendons, bone and teeth. Along with soft keratin, it is responsible for skin strength and elasticity, and its degradation leads to wrinkles that accompany aging. It strengthens blood vessels and plays a role in tissue development. It is present in the cornea and lens of the eye in crystalline form. It is also used in cosmetic surgery and burns surgery.

i have found out some more info about collagen-Abit scarey on one part becuase, it brings back the previous worries regarding BO, il put what i found out:

The cosmetic use of collagens is declining because:

1. there is a fairly high rate of allergic reactions causing prolonged redness and requiring inconspicuous patch testing prior to cosmetic use, and
2. most medical collagen is derived from cows, posing the risk of transmitting prion diseases like BSE
3. alternatives using the patient's own fat or hyaluronic acid are readily available.

Now a PRION DESEASE IS:short for proteinaceous infectious particle,is a type of infectious agent made only of protein. Prions are believed to infect and propagate by refolding abnormally into a structure which is able to convert normal molecules of the protein into the abnormally structured form, and they are generally quite resistant to denaturation by protease, heat, radiation, and formalin treatments, although potency or infectivity can be reduced. The term does not, however, a priori preclude other mechanisms of transmission.
Although genetic research may shed light on prions, they are not a genetic disease.

Now presuably BO ,as it is mad from cows would also carry these risks.

Does gelatin pose the same risks then? Also, does anyone know if gelatin is good for NBE? I've seen some women including it in their programs.

Thanks GingerD for your informative info. Smile I too have been thinking that Collagen is prob a good asset to the whole nbe process. Since comparing other breast creams, pills and such, the ones that always stand out to me are the ones that have different products from everyone else. Like the one cream from the phillipines that we aren't sure on whether it works or not, has collagen (& elasin in it as one of the main ingredients), Also the 'supershine' product mentioned on here made by Japan, has collagen in it also. So I'm wondering do Asian makers of these products know something we don't know?? I mean look at fengshui and tigerlily's progress they've had just on eating the right boobie foods and doing the right massages (pressure points, and chinese tai chi, etc)

But the info you found on collagen is a bit scary. I even found a cream with collagen in it online that says it's from US bovine sources. so wonderin if that's safe.

but also I remember someone on here talking about an asian girl growing 3 cup sizes in like 3 months that was doing a few things and one of them was taking hydrolyzed collagen supplements and foods. So it does seem beneficial.

I found a liquid hydrolyzed collagen supplement on iherb.com that i'm thinking about trying later on.

Corrie,

i don't know if gelatin poses the same risks or not, but it does seem to help with growth for some (like fengshui and I'm not sure but prob tigerlily also) and jellydeee also added it to her program towards the end before stopping the herbs not too long ago and shortly after adding the gelatine she reached a D cup. So that was enough for me to add it to my program. Smile i buy the Gelatine Knox for nails from walgreens, but I don't drink it everyday since one box only has 14 packets and it's $8 a pop. Can't afford to keep buying it all the time along with everything else. So I drink it every other day, funny thing is when I don't drink it, I don't have as many aches and pains in my breasts as I do when I drink it.

Good luck to everyone...breast wishes!! Smile

here's a link about BSE, I think the info is a little old, but it does provide a lot of answers to questions we might have, like what countries have reported it, if its found in US, how it's spread, etc. very interesting, I haven't read through it all yet though.

One way you can increase collagen naturally is to increase your daily intake of vitamin C. Vitamin C is a precursor to collagen in our bodies.

I have never read a study that confirms vitamin C as having an effect on breast size, however, it stands to reason that if an increase in collagen can improve breast size or tone, then vitamin C may help.

As a part of my routine I take large amounts of it, and also for general health. Linus Pauling wrote extensively about this vitamin. It is virtually non-toxic, even at very high levels and can be very helpful for a variety of conditions. I believe it is helping me with NBE.

After reading what you said, I ordered Hydraplenish and received them today. They are very expensive, but I am on a mission now to get healthy and turn back time (grow my boobs back too, via BB).

Can you tell me what they did for you, like skin and plumping? I would be happy if I could just keep my skin from getting so dry this winter. How long it took to see any results? Did you start by taking so many daily, or after they started working did you decide to take more?

Thanks, Sissy

I couldn't help but LOVE this sentence:

"Remember however that Collagen II will help every area of your body that can become victim to the signs of ageing - including helping to firm up BREASTS and eradicate CELLULITE."

Sounds great, cheers for the info Ginger !!!!!!!! Wink))
But WOW, the difference in price between the two, is shockingly huge!!! (from £36 to £6.95 ???)
It does seem to be the very same product, ebay also says it's 1 month trial, so it seems to be the same...?
I know 350mg doesn't sound like a lot,
(Hydraplenish for example has BioCell Collagen II = 1.000mg
PROVIDING Hydrolyzed Collagen Type II = 600mg
and recommended daily dosage is 2 caps daily or 4(!) for "intensive use")

~ Have you found how many tablets is the recommended daily dose for Col-Ease?? Haven't managed to find any Directions for daily dosage myself....

~ Another thing: did you understand which source this collagen in Col-Ease is actually from? From what I saw, they only state that Collagen 2 is a 100% natural source of absorbable collagen protein and refer to the conditions under which their product is made to make it as near as it can be to our own collagen so that it is readily absorbed by our body. They refer to various common sources of collagen (all of them!plant/fish/bovine) but do not state which source their collagen is made from..? Unless I missed the info...

Best Boobie Wishes,

To Faerycat - about colagen

Faery, I'd like to know a few things about colagen:

1 - do you think iy really helps witn NBE along with other herbs?
2 - Do it helps with cellulite and fat in your body, since NBE helps to make you a bit more fat, do you think colagen will help on this?
3 - How long did you take collagen until see some results? How long do you think we must take it?

I'll be very happy if you answer to my questions, please

Hi Liz,

Ok, in answer to your questions -

1. Yes, it is helping me for sure :-)

2. Not quite sure what you mean on the second question. The calorific value in marine collagen is very little. I should not make you gain any weight. As for filling out cellulite, I'm not sure. Cellulite is like fat being pushed through a string bag which is why it gives the effect of dimpling in the skin. I had a little around my thighs to begin with but it has now disappeared, but then I've recently become a fitness freak and work-out all the time.

3. The experts reckon that it takes a minimum of 6 months to notice the benefits of collagen but I began to see a difference in my face within 6 weeks or so. My boobs are now becoming more meatier too. Length of time to take it? I would say for life, but then that would be up to the individual. I mean, it would be a shame to give up on it when it was giving such good results. Also, after the age of 25, the body makes less and less collagen by itself which is why sagging, wrinkles etc happen. If it is possible to replenish what we can't make and continue to look better/younger for longer, then it has to be worth it........right?

Hope that's answered your questions.

Love

=^_^= x

Some more info for you Liz -

Description

COLLAGEN - Collagen supplement. Higher Nature CollaFlex Gold, 180 tablets. For joints, skin.

Pure marine collagen for joints . As a vital part of joint cartilage, Collagen is essential for supple and flexible joints. In fact, it is responsible for the shiny surfaces that enable joints to move smoothly and and comfortably.

Researchers believe, however, that we lose approximately 1.5% of our Collagen per year after the age of 25-30. Collaflex Gold provides pure marine collagen, hydrolysed for easy absorption as a nutritional support for joints. It is best taken with a daily multivitamin/mineral and vitamin C.

Directions

Take 3-10 tablets a day with or between meals or as your health professional advises.

A daily mulivitamin/mineral and vitamin C are also recommended.

Nutritional Information

Three tablets typically provide: Collagen Hydrolysate 2100mg (non shark marine sourced) providing Proline, Hydroxyproline, hydroxylysine.

No added sugar, salt, soya, wheat, gluten, yeast, lactose, dairy products, artificial preservatives, colours or flavourings.

Ingredients

Collagen hydrosalate, Lithoamnion calcarea, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose coating.

Caution

Keep out of the reach of children

Further Information

Collagen is regularly described as the building blocks of the skin. It therefore has a key role to play in creating and maintaining healthy skin all over the body.

It has, however, been scientifically shown that it diminishes at a rate of approximately 1.5% per annum from the age of 25 years onwards. Now it's possible to replenish your body's Collagen without expensive, intrusive injections.

It is, therefore, not surprising that the skin’s collagen is being replenished through subcutaneous injections. Procedures of this nature seem to be very much on the increase and undoubtedly bring short-term benefits.

The drawbacks are that they only target a small area, they are quite expensive and they need repeating on a regular basis.

Benefits of Collagen

Boosts the body’s collagen production. Smoothes fine lines and wrinkles.
Helps carry oxygen to the skin.
Firms and tones the skin.
Plumps up the skin.
Naturally detoxifies skin tissue. Excellent results with cellulite. Replaces lost elasticity.

What is Collagen?

Collagen is a major structural protein which provides protection and support to soft issues and connects them with the skeleton.

Collagen accounts for approximately 25% of all the protein in the body.

Collagen is the glue that holds the body together.

Collagen is the most abundant structural protein in the body, 75% of the dermis consists of collagen and it accounts for 90% of dermal volume.

Collagen holds the key to healthy skin as it provides the skin’s strength, resilience and firmness.

Collagen builds scar tissue to assist in healing damaged skin.

The Skin

The Skin is the body’s largest organ and constitutes approximately 15% of its total weight. It is composed of 3 layers - the epidermis, the dermis and the sub-cutaneous tissue. The Dermis, often referred to as the “living skin,” makes up 90% of the bulk of the skin and 75% of the dermis is collagen.

From the age of 17-25 years the skin starts to age As the skin ages, the dermis becomes thinner and we lose collagen at a rate of approximately 1.5% per annum.

Collagen targets:

Ageing skin.
Wrinkles.
Frown lines.
Crows feet.
Nasal-labial lines.
Under nourished and sun damaged skin. Dry and cracked skin.
Scarring and Wound healing.
It can be taken to enhance the results of these treatments and provide benefits for the whole body.
Collagen is a non-invasive alternative for Botox, collagen injections and similar procedures.
The effects of orally ingested collagen are cumulative.

Face Lifts

There are many face-lift programmes and treatments on the market. These mostly work on the surface of the skin and their effects are temporary.
Collagen works inside the body, all over the body, at the level of the dermis and its effects are cumulative. Collagen can therefore improve the results of face lift treatments.

Weight Management

If taken regularly, collagen can preserve and build and replenish lean muscle mass and encourage the body to shed fat. Collagen may therefore help with inch loss and cellulite.

Pregnant or nursing mothers, and children under 12 should always consult their licensed health professional before taking any supplements.

http://www.elixirhealth.co.uk/asps/ShowD...sp?id=1017

So yes, it does appear so help with cellulite and weight loss after all. No wonders mines has disappeared. Lol, and there was me thinking that all my hard efforts down the gym were paying off.

Some more info -

Pure Marine Collagen

Natural nutritional protein supplement for optimum health!
- collagen for the creation of skin, muscle, bone and cartilage.

Collagen is the main natural protein that makes up our ligaments, joints, hair, skin and nails, and provides our bodies with structural support. Twenty-five per cent of the dry protein weight of the human body is collagen - the fibrous, elastic, connective tissue in our bodies that holds us together. Seventy-five per cent of our skin is made up of collagen, providing texture, resiliency, and shape; and in total about 30 per cent of our body is collagen. Collagen is the protein that literally holds our skin up.

THE FACE LIFT IN A CAPSULE!

As we age, our body's production of collagen slows down. On the outside we see our skin start to wrinkle and lose its youthful radiance. On the inside we experience this as the weakening of our skeletal structure due to the breakdown of connective tissue, including muscle tissue.

Unfortunately, collagen production reduces by 1.5 per cent per year after the age of 25. So by the time you are 50, your body produces one third less collagen that it did when you left school.

Collagen supplementation is essential to support the body during these natural ageing processes.

Benefits of taking 100% marine collagen:
• Boosts collagen production naturally (especially beneficial for stickler syndrome sufferers)
• Strengthens nail and hair follicles
• Smoothes fine lines and wrinkles & increases the elasticity of the skin
• Regenerates lean muscle mass and improves circulation
- due to muscle tissue leaning
• Firms and tones
• Lose inches where needed and reduce fat mass
• Regenerates joints and cartilage
• Reduces arthritic pain
• Feeds the connective tissues
• Improves endurance and vitality
• Helps to carry oxygen through the body
• Naturally detoxifies
• Benefit from a better sleep

Take 100% marine collagen to rejuvenate!

How does 100% marine collagen work?
100% Marine Collagen works from the inside and contains the antioxidant Vitamin C which is an essential co factor in enhancing the action of 100% Marine Collagen. The role of collagen is to nourish the skin from the inside and maintain the highest levels of skin texture through the continuous renewal of its cells, preventing dehydration and minimizing the appearance of wrinkles and stretch marks.

In the first 45 to 90 minutes of sleep your body goes into a repair and rebuild or "rejuvenation" mode. As we grow older, this process slows down. 100% marine collagen is formulated in such a way that it can assist the repair and rebuilding process.

Each capsule = 700mg
30 Capsules = 15 days' supply
60 Capsules = 1 month's supply
180 Capsules = 3 months' supply
Some people experience an improvement after just a few weeks whilst others will need a number of months to see and feel a significant difference. For this reason an initial 3~6 month course is recommended. Increasingly we find that people wish to continue with the collagen after only a few weeks.

faerycat,
i ordered the three month supply you suggested off of ebay. how much do you take a day? i looked at your program page, and i thought you said you take two. did you start taking that much right away, or did you start off with one pill and decide to boost it to reap more benefits. i ask because it is slightly pricey and has to be ordered from overseas - but if it works, i think it is worth totally worth it. And do you really notice a difference in your lips? that would be great if that happens for me! i have a lip plumper that uses marine collagen.

Hi Sophie,

Yes, I take 2 x 1000mg caps before bed. Collagen isn't really something you can start off low then ramp up. You would really be wasting your time and money by doing that. You need to get as much of that stuff in as possible.

Some companies recommend that you take an extra capsule (daytime) for the first 3 months or so to get quicker results, then continue with the 2 capsules. It is up to yourself really, but they are expensive. If you can afford it, do it.

Yes too.......big difference in my lips. Lol, they were beginning to fray and shrivel a bit before I started collagen and now they are moist, pouty and meaty again :-D

Don't expect overnight results. It will take time but is worth it.

Drinkable Collagen??
November 21 2008 at 3:34 AM delicate41 (Login delicate41)
I have seen on Oprah that girls from 18-70 years of age in Tokyo Japan are drinking collagen (powder form) to keep skin firm & young & which also helps retain moisture naturally in the skin. Here in the US women inject it. Has anybody tried this? Does It work? Does it help promote breast growth? I wish to try it but as with all drugs I like to keep researching to see if there are any side effects. On the web search I see it runs in price from $40 to $100 depending on price. I have only read positive things which could be due to promotion. I am going to keep researching to see what findings doctors have seen if any. Has anyone tried it here?

Thanks

I've been reading that it is very helpful. How exactly does it help? Does it contribute to growth or just firmness? Can u build collagen from massage, or do u have to take in food/pill form? Also, I've heard gelatin being tossed around as well and wanted to know how it relates to collagen. thanks.

Collages is a protein. It's taken as a supplement as a source of protein. It's an addition to NBE but not the main actor.

I think I caused growth of connective tissue in my breasts with agressive massage. Connective tissue is the type of tissue that contains the most collagen and it's growth is stimulated by trauma (scar tissue) and also by a strong enoguh harmless mechanical stimulus like agressive massage.

thanks for the response moon. it's a good thing it's not necessay to take a supplement or get it from some food, bc I want to limit the amount of stuff I have to buy. have you noticed massage contribute to growth and firmness or just either or?

Am a big advocate of collagen, I think its important for connective tissue as well as MSM.

Massage is a must in NBE. Before it became a regular part of routines hardly anyone had any sucess.

I can believe collagen supplements would help build connective tissue. Some collagen is difficult to find though, expecially marine collagen.

Ladies
When I went to vitamin shop and asked for marine collegen I was told that they have no idea what I`m talking about.
They said they have collegen but the box didn`t say marine collegen so I didn`t buy it. Coul you tell me what marine collegen is and how can I find it and did it really help with wrinkles since I`m getting those ugly lines aroud my mouth. Thanks.

Are you in the U.S.? I don't believe it's sold here. I've checked many stores and sites and can only find it in the UK or occasionally on eBay. I would try there. Smile May be an FDA issue.

Marine collagen must come from some from of sea life.

My local health food shop has two types of collagen, marine collagen and another which just says collagen.
