Also, that info you posted about gut health is very helpful! Thank you for that. Im also struggling to maintain my weight and I'm at 110 currently but it's SO easy for me to lose weight so I have to work really hard to maintain it. How tall are you? (if you don't mind me asking)

Wish i could lose weight easily lmao
I have to work so hard to lose

Thank you!
I had quite a few symptoms and I am not sure if they all are because of estrogen dominance, but i think they all have to do with hormonal imbalances.
I had a LOT of hair fallout and a lot of discharge (mostly creamy white sorry if that's tmi), memory loss (still battling that right now but it's been a little better), foggy thinking, long and heavy periods (although that could be from my copper iud, but I think it should have gotten better by now), extreme irritability (I hated almost everyone lol), ZERO sex drive, and quite a few months ago, I felt slightly depressed during my period usually towards the end but I think that could have had to do with coming off BCP.
But I am fairly certain I have too much estrogen in my system because every time I take PM, I start to have hair fallout and excess discharge which are my first signs of an imbalance. And I think for two cycles before this last cycle, I was getting some mid-cycle spotting which I looked up online and found out it was due to high estrogen levels. Also I found online that heavy or long periods are due to too much estrogen since estrogen is what builds the uterine lining -- more E will make it thicker and there will be more to shed during your period. So I will definitely be staying away from any estrogenic herbs for a while now!

I'm glad the gut health info helped! It's definitely been such a huge help for me. Also, I think some of my irritability issues can be attributed to not having enough minerals from having so many gut problems and not absorbing nutrients correctly. So I am really trying to fix my stomach. A lot of health problems arise from issues with the stomach.

I am exactly the same with weight! It fluctuates so much and I don't think it's water weight. I'm pretty slim (I'm 5'4") and I have muscle because I work out all the time (mostly lifting with some cardio for heart health). I drink so much water during the day though that I never get that bloated/water weight issue.
I actually came across this chocolate bar recipe that I call "cocoa fat bars" lol. I'll post the recipe soon but maintaining weight has a lot to do with calorie intake and since fat has the highest number of calories per gram, I thought it would be good to increase my healthy fat intake.

Update
Soo
I think the PM caused a small stall Dodgy
Breasts seem to be the same size that they were during my period maybe even ever so slightly smaller. The last few days, I have still been having some hair fallout but not as much as when I was taking PM for those few days.

I can't decide on a vitex dosage. I am thinking about upping it by one more pill (so 675mg/day) and seeing how my body reacts. I decided against taking PC so I will be returning that so I don't get tempted to try it lol.
Also, I added more vit c - 1000mg. Other than that, everything else in my program is pretty much the same. I am going to continue taking vitex through my period this time (as per the advice of Ella Big Grin).
Crossing my fingers on some growth like last month!

"Cocoa Fat Bar Recipe"

I really want to start eating more to maintain my weight/gain a few pounds. I already eat really healthy so I just need to add more snacks or increase my portions a little. I think adding more healthy fats will increase my caloric intake. I am still eating 1 avocado a day, but need more than that.
So, I found this recipe for energy chocolate bars and modified it a little bit.

Ingredients:
1 3oz. DARK chocolate bar (at least 70% cocoa - I use 85%)
4 tbsp coconut oil (I used unrefined)
1/4 cup macadamia nuts, chopped
2 tbsp shredded coconut (I used the medium one from whole foods; you can get the other one that has sugar in it if you want to add sweetness to the chocolate)

8 servings

i LOVE dark chocolate as of recently. Before I hated it because it's so bitter, but I really like the bitter taste now. So If you don't like bitter chocolate you might not like this recipe lol. But it's actually why I made it -- for the low sugar content. It's ok to eat a high fat (healthy fat) diet as long as your sugar intake is low. I barely eat any sugar. Also, all of these ingredients (except the shredded coconut) are on multiple lists of foods highest in healthy fats! Tongue

INstructions:
On low heat, melt the coconut oil in a small pot. Then add the chocolate until it is melted. Mix in the macadamia nuts and shredded coconut. Mix together until everything is incorporated. Let cool for a few minutes and pour onto a parchment paper-lined dish. Put in the fridge to cool.
I like to eat my chocolate cold ( i like the crunch) but you can eat it at room temperature too, but just keep in mind it tends to melt faster because of the oil.

I like to break up the chocolate into my overnight banana oatmeal! it's really yummy and I can eat it guilt free. Chocolate also helps with cramps if you need another excuse to eat it lol.

Thanks for sharing the chocolate fat bar recipe! I might try it without the coconut (can't stand the texture).

Just watched the whole thing!!
I LOVE you Ella Thank you sooo much! Seriously such a helpful video.

If the video is not available anymore for others reading this, I found it on youtube too:

She mentioned pretty much all of my symptoms! I have been wanting to test for gluten sensitivity too. It's just tough creating an elimination diet when I'm cooking for my boyfriend too.
I definitely want to add some foods into my diet to help my gut. I think I will actually make a bone broth this weekend. I thought about it before but it seems like so much work lol but I need to do something to fix this.

I have been getting better on glutamine, but it kinda seems almost like a stall now like I'm at a good place while taking it but I just can't seem to kick this problem completely so that I don't have to take glutamine supplements anymore. Which might mean there is something I'm taking or drinking/eating still that is the culprit for it. I just can't figure out what.
And I can't decide if I want to get rid of herbs and supplements completely and replace them with foods. I think they have helped a lot. I guess that's just me being stubborn and still wanting some fast booby growth even though I have known for a while now that I need to sort out my gut issues before more herb stuff Dodgy time to do more research!

But thank you so much Ella. Anyone with hormonal imbalances should DEFINITELY watch the video. I HIGHLY recommend it.

Also wanted to add that my sex drive is like THROUGH THE ROOF right now.
It started when I added that extra vitex pill each day. I wonder if that's a good thing....
My boyfriend certainly thinks so! haha

Yeh I had soo many " shit that's me" moments watching that too!
If it helps any I'm going gluten free (as much as humanly possible" and it's not too hard, the family is on gluten so for me I just have say a piece of meat and salad or steamed broccoli and a baked potatoe or sweet potatoe etc.

The candida thing freaked me out too ESP a parasite being behind hers!

Good your libido is up, plus several girls go up in boob size on vitex too.
