I prefer the shape of the first one (grey shirt) but would still be very happy with a body like curvy Kate as an interim goal.

I also prefer the grey one. You can be like her if you stick to your proper eating habit (less and healthy food) and exercise. POM
That's what I'm starting to do. I've been having veg/salad instead of chips, cutting down on the amount of meat and switching to fish or chicken instead of sausages and stuff.
I'm going to try and cut down on bread as well.
My waist is already becoming thinner and my breasts are so much perkier than when I started (I didn't realise how droopy they were in the first pic I uploaded)

Good, you are on the right track. Yes, cut down the bread they really add pounds to weights. I have cut a lot of bread and sugar from my daily diet, and very little red meat and no more hot dogs or processed meat. Remember, for a healthy diet to stay for the rest of our life, we must change our thinking of how to eat.
yep this is something I think a lot of people dont realize. they think they can just go on some insane diet for a couple months, lose a bunch of weight, and then go back to their old diet and lifestyle and the weight will stay off. the changes need to be permanent though. if you go back to your old diet and lifestyle, then you will go back to your old body as well.

Well said.

Good luck. Even though I'm slim, I'm trying to control my diet, too. We're in this together.

I'll be joining you girls next month. We're still broke this month, but BF starts the new job next week, get's his first paycheck the week after that, and we figure on it taking us two weeks to recover on bills, then we should be able to afford to go ketogenic.

Aww thanks missB
Unfortunately I live without mirrors so I rely on my phone to show me the results (my partner is afraid of mirrors). I also don't have any scales so don't know how much I've lost.
I can't wait til we can afford proper nutrition and a gym membership

I agree, it's definitely becoming visible now.
I also wish we could afford a gym membership, or at least room enough to set up our own small private gym, I already have 2 dumb bells and a barbell and weights through a decent range. We don't have a good treadmill or stationary bike though or a bench for the BF to do the inevitable bench pressing that men like doing so much. The BF has a stationary bike in the basement but as far as I can tell it's tension adjusters are broken, the computer inoperable, and the entire thing just in no condition to be used at all. I need to convince him to scrap it and at least free up that much space even though we are unlikely to be able to replace it anytime soon.

I'm so excited about the changes I've been feeling in my body. I can't really tell when I look down as I mainly just see boob lol and like I said, no mirrors
I'm not sure about where you are, but there might be either a facebook page or a website where people are giving things away cheap/free, ours is called freecycle. Might be worth checking out, we don't have the space for even a stationary bike. We're working towards getting an exercise mat and some weights. (we can put it where our coffee table, which is a cheap folding table, is at the moment)

Congrats! Let's keep getting excited about the good changes and let the other things flow in, hopefully. Last weekend, I got a free Tri-Star Air Climber & an older exercycle- for free! They both work great! The air stepper is my favorite. It is easy and comfortable to use. I sometimes just put in a few minutes here and there because it is so fun! I wished for a home gym because gym memberships are pricey in my area and voila! I just find creative ways to work out at home- sometimes dancing and now gym equipment of my own. I might have to strap my couch to the ceiling, though or ask the neighbors if I could knock out just one little wall. Hehehe! I am getting more fit and excited, too. Congrats on your big progress. Emphasize the awesome things!
