I can not find an accurate bra size- everyone is telling me differently!?

#11

You aren't suppose to add inches to the underbust. You measure directly under the breasts for the underbust measurement. Then, you measure at the largest part of the breasts. You subtract the underbust from the bust measurement. This gives you the cup size. Not all the cups of bras have the same shape. You need to find the type of bra that has the same shape as your breasts.

Most women (even on this site) are wearing the wrong bra size. Some bra manufacturers may use a different technique but that is the main way to measure. Not all a, b, c and d cups are the same in the cup size. Just go to your nearest shop that sells bra and compare the 32D to the 36D. Not only is the band bigger but also the cup is bigger.

What are your measurements?

I get that your underbust is 27, but I'm not sure what your bust (fullest) is. Your band is around a 28. The 32B is tight because the cups are too small. It's also a bit of trial and error, as not all bras are made the same.

Hey, I use this bra calculator here: http://www.brasizecalculator.tk
I find it has gotten the most accurate measurements for me. It takes into account a lot of the things most bra calculators or measuring techniques not even touch on.
I hope this helps you. Smile

You could be! It's all relative from the inches of the band size to the bra size. It takes into account your fullness and projection of your breasts too. It sounds like you have been wearing the wrong sized bra, if I knew your band size measurements, I could know for sure. Technically I should be a 24HH/J, but sadly that is a extremely hard size to find! Sad

I then got it measured at another store and they say I am a 32A whic is crazy because my breasts wont even fit into a 32 A cup. The crazy thing about it is, I measured my bust and at the beginning of my NBE i was a 31, then a 32, and now im a 33 but my band is a 27 . What is my actualy breasts size? What is going on?? I tried it online and they claim I am a 30 C. Could that be true? Even my 34 B cup is starting to feel a little tight but not too tight.

I don't understand these bra calculators at all. I mean they seem so far off it's crazy.
http://www.brasizecalculator.tk/ <-- Going by that one mrs peeka would be a 34F/FF. 34F/FF is huge! Yeah, we wish! Come on. I don't know how anybody could go by these and it could be right. It must be that some body types and boob shapes aren't compatible or something I guess.

I know the answers from the calculator can seem crazy, but they take into account if your breasts are shallow/projected, if you have short or long roots to your breasts.
If you have time, please click on the link and read through why it gives you your measurements, especially the section 'Believe your size'.
