Should I get medium NB sized cups or large cups?

#1

Hi everyone,
I have very small breasts, barely fill in an A (when I bend forwards, they're actually more than a handful, especially since I've started massaging!) but my bone structure is kind of "thick". My bust measurement is 33 inches (at the nipples). I'm thinking Medium sized cups would work for me? I've been looking around the forum though and have read that the bigger the cups, the better. Is this true?  Do you think I should go with a large? Thank you!

What I do is go to the dome database thread on this forum an look up the measurements for the med and the large then take a piece of paper and cut hole the same size about an inch apart.  And hold them up to your chest and see if they fit.    If they stick out past the edge of your breasts then they are too large.

Great advice! Thank you Karren. Since you're so nice, could you also kindly let me know what the difference is between the regular cups and the contoured ones? I'm not sure which I should get. I contacted the store but got no reply......also are the airlocked noogleberry cups contoured or regular?? I think I should get the airlocked ones so that I don't have to hold the hand pump the entire time (if I understood correctly...).
Thank you!

The contour domes are curved to better fit your chest.   I've never tried them.   Get the air lock and get the silicone gaskets of available.

hi bettie  ..i had the kangzhu large cups for about 2yrs. they had little silicon rings and were contoured ..i liked that but i have to say the quality of materials was not the best  ..not at all. a couple of months ago, i finally broke down and got the large contoured noogleberry breast pumps. i didn't get the silicon rings, i thought i would, i was afraid they would be too uncomfortable but really, they aren't as uncomfortable as i imagined they might be ...i still might get them at some point, though. as far as the contoured base, i kinda like that but you absolutely have to rotate them before you pump until their contour fits your chest wall and they seal. i'm glad i got the contoured. i mean, i think i am. i really don't know what the non-contoured would be like. the quality of materials and valves are really good and the large contoured noogs seem a little bit bigger than the large kangzhu's. pricier but i should have gotten these in the first place.

oh, i almost forgot ..my underbust is 31-32", breast measures about 38-39". i'm 5'8. when i got these noogleberry large pumps on, my breast sides still touch the inner wall near the base but there's this little thing that i do that i'm quite fond of ..i heat up a little oil mixture, stand at my stove with burner on medium, massage with oil while occasionally heating my palms over the burner. then, i have a small bottle of aloe vera gel i keep refrigerated. i pour about a teaspoon in my hand and rub all over the breast area, especially where the base will be, put the cups on, rotate, pump and then, this is the part i love. i have these big, fat rubber bands, i slip a couple, sometimes three over both cups and since the aloe vera gel is kinda slippery, the rubber bands pull the cups together till they touch. sometimes, i have to pump a bit more so they don't pull the cups right off my chest and what i've found is they are filling my breasts out toward my sternum which really appeals to me cuz, it seems i've already got plenty of breast at my sides. i'm really most happy about this in particular. it works for me ..so, this may give you a little bit of context for deciding medium or large ...but, if you do the little paper thing that karren said to do and the large will work for you, definitely get the large. you don't want your breast all squished against the wall of the cups ..you need expansion. Hi Solome, thank you for your thorough and helpful response! Yes, I'm def. getting the Noogleberry instead of the Kangzu.

Wow your breast measurement is 38-39!! Did you always have these measurements or have you grown from pumping etc.? My bust size is 33 inches. My underbust (ribcage) is about 29.5. Though I'm not curvy, my frame is not exactly petite, this is why I'm seriously considering getting the L sized cups. I've been snooping around the forum and have read that it's better to get bigger ones than smaller ones. Do you think they wouldn't work though if they end up being too big?

Measuring the bottom part of my breast, it's about 11 cms but when I measure the top part (close to my armpit) til the center of my chest, it's almost 14 cms. I wonder if I'm measuring correctly. I don't want the sides of my breasts to end up touching the cups if I get the M,....I could try the clever aloe vera and rubber bands technique you do but you seem more of an expert than me!!  Wink

The fact that L sounds so big though is worrying me. I mean I barely fill in an A cup, I have tiny little breasts so getting an L makes me feel like I have illusions of grandeur or something haha Thank you again for your feedback!

Thumbs Up

hahaha. that was funny.

yeah, i’ve got the ones with the airlock ..i’m glad cuz you can disconnect the hoses if you want ..a little bit of air escapes when you disconnect but if you want to release some more then you can by pushing the tiny metal release. i wasn’t the size i am now when i began. the pumping has helped a lot, i’m sure of it but also, i do a lot of other things. i should get my own little page. my posts are scattered everywhere. i didn’t keep a record of my progress. i’m not data driven like i should've been so i could look back and give myself a thumbs up.

i mix a nutritional drink in the morning, mostly, gelatin  ..a packet of knox gelatin and level tablespoon of great lakes collagen hydrolysate, ≈level tbsp of nutritional yeast, a modest half tsp of creatine, ≈8th tsp of msm, small tsp whey protein, half tsp arginine, spirulina, psyllium, turmeric, quarter tsp cinnamon, capsule of glucosamine, 1 capsule sheep placenta, about 8000 units d3, a tbsp barleans fish oil, tbsp coconut oil and molasses. in the evening, on an empty stomach, before bed, i don’t mix all this stuff, it’s mostly the gelatin and some gaba , a bit of arginine and ornithine to help spike growth hormone which releases in pulses ..there's a pulse about 2 hrs into your sleep cycle. i’ve read that the gelatin helps to increase this. http://wellnessmama.com/7419/gelatin-uses/ i also seem to eat a lot of hard boiled eggs. i love them with guldens spicy mustard, god help me.

i massage but not near as much as i’d like ..mostly before and between pumping. i’m just mentioning all this cuz i couldn’t tell you exactly what has contributed the most to the growth i’ve gotten. sometimes, i’ve used progest cream but not too often. i do feel strongly that progesterone contributes greatly to breast growth ..it tends to balance estrogen from going wild and causing too much cell proliferation and it helps develop breast anatomy. reducing stress will save your available progeseterone for your breasts instead of being converted to cortisone. uumm, lets see, i make sure i get plenty of good fat, i mean, you can’t grow if all your body has for resources is enough for only maintenance and repair. and since you’re taking in more, you must exercise at least some modest but regular and massage, too, at least some.

i haven’t used the subliminals and binaurels but i don’t doubt they can be effective, i really do believe that, just haven’t done this myself. sometimes, i think my ass is pretty determined not to be outdone by my breasts so, be prepared to deal with that, maybe, squats will help keep things perky. there’s so much information on this site. oh, also, i take plenty of kelp for iodine. i should probably think about lugols or iodoral. you know, it’s funny, since i’ve been doing this, i could swear i get little growth spurts but i do get plenty of fluctuations so i try not to despair when i think they’ve shrunk ..they just cycle with our hormones. i’ve made bone broths before. i like those. i should make some this weekend. anyway, i’m all over the place ..i need more underboobage.

so, i just measured the base of my large contoured noogleberry domes. the outside diameter is 5 7/16" and the inside diameter is 4 7/8". this is for your paper cutouts. you can do this bettie. sometimes, we have to push hard against our genetic predispositions.  Blush

Thank you for sharing your routine, Solome and for the useful info. It sounds very interesting (esp. your super nutritional morning drink!! )- I don't really take anything, recently stopped eating flaxseeds because of breakouts but I do eat lots of boiled eggs, like you! Might look into some progesterone cream. I actually did try the beats for about 6 months but nada...I guess it depends. Could work for others...ok, good to know that fluctuations are normal. I'll try not to despair and I really gotta stop measuring everyday Dodgy

I'm a little confused about the airlock system. Will I still be able to do the 7:2 or 10:2 method? Somebody on this forum mentioned getting the regular system as opposed to the airlock because she likes to do the 7:2 thing. I wonder what that means. Also, would you happen to know what the gauged hand pump upgrade is?  Is it necessary? Sorry about all the questions! I haven't gotten a reply from the NB team and you're very helpful  Smile

Thanks again for your feedback and for measuring your NB domes, that's real nice of ya!
