I haven't gone way back to your earlier posts but how is massage going? I know you're not measuring until a year goes by (so I guess, March 2017) but how do your breasts look/feel?

They look and feel tiny. Sad  I just went through something super stressful, and it seems like they shriveled up in response because I noticed the smallness only afterward. I also wasn't eating much, so I doubt that helped.

I'm thinking I need to change my routine altogether, because I'm really not seeing a lot of change. The constant bouts of stress aren't helping, either. Someone as skinny, anxious, and stressed out as me probably needs to take extreme measures since my body's so distressed all the time.

I'm sorry to hear you've gone through a stressful period. Yes, I think stress can affect NBE but don't be upset. In about three months it will have been a year for you and you haven't measured at all so you can't really say what's happened to your breasts. Keep massaging.  I'm doing so and I recently started pumping too so we'll see....

Eat plenty of good fats/oils! Don't know about u but I love avocados!

Fight or flight response can do so much damage we dont even know. Im on a forum full of women who are in the same boat, all have chronic gut issues cause we couldnt control the stress in our lives. The thing that keeps getting thrown out there is medidiation...  I personally have a hard time with that but you might not?
Also who you surround yourself with makes a huge differnce.
For me my husband is the most amazing person on the planet but he is VERY MOODY and almost bi-polar at times. It makes life sooo hard, i feel im walking on eggshells alot of the time. Likely why my gut problems arent healing at the rate they need to. Lucky for me i get to go to work and be surrounded by people who appreciate me and make me laugh otherwise i hate to think!

So try meditating? Maybe a diet condusive to relaxation, maybe some more teas - chamomile? I recall blood pressure issues so licorice is out.  But look at Ashwaghnada tea.... You could even look at Damiana tea... That helps with breasts to and is a relaxant. I might dig mine out too.

Burn some incense!
Try some lavendar on your neck or in a bath.
Hot epsom salts baths to relax and get magnesium into your body.
B vitamens for stress - big one. Maybe look at brewers yeast...

My mom always swore by brewers yeast.  I hated it as a kid, but I must now look into it more.

You can get it in pill form which is easier to consume.  I had to look it up again but its a source of B vits/chromium and good for blood sugar levels and i was told to take it when breastfeeding. Good for nervous system.
The powdered brewers yeast isnt great but i believe theres someting in it if it was used and suggested by our elders you know. Before things became so artificial !

I agree Ella Smile

As much as I am into pushing it a little, I really want "natural", "genuine, "real", and HEALTHY when it really comes down to it.

I'm sorry that your hubby's mood has such an effect on you, Ella. That must be so hard.

I can't really do meditation as it's against my religion, but I should probably pray more. I should definitely pray more.

Thanks for all your wonderful suggestions. I'm going to take a look at Damiana tea, since you said that helps with NBE, too.

I really hope your gut problems clear up soon. It sounds like you're doing a bit better lately, which is great news!
