ok ..time to report on my zhi mu trial. :/  uuuhh, mostly, i’d start with dripping zhi mu on my breasts ...4 or 5 drops per breast and massaging in well
then, i’ve been taking a bit of my bottled aloe vera and massage, again …so, i figure it helps to increase the absorption, idk.
i was using lily of the desert whole leaf aloe vera, fwiw. AM and PM. and i let it dry before putting on a bra or blouse. anyway, one bottle has lasted about 10weeks.

i’m trying hard to be objective and not let my wishful thinking get in the way. ok, wtf, i think it has helped.
i won't say it’s been breathtaking but i can say that i am encouraged   ....enough to do another round.
i can, also, say that my favorite time to put it on is right when i towel off after a warm bath.
ok, so, there it is. i’m doing another bottle.

hey ella …that’s a good good thing you’re doing for ella. who's gonna treat ella better than ella. and, who's gonna treat solome better than solome. and goes for everyone here. there are so many articles about the many benefits of aloe vera but  ...after seeing how my mother's been wrinkling, here are a couple that have me buzzing.

Your skin ages from ultraviolet light damage and other biological causes. As you get older, your skin loses collagen. Collagen is a protein that keeps your skin firm and elastic. Aging causes an increase in matrix metalloproteinases, or MMPs, that break down the collagen matrix in your skin. Exposure to sunlight triggers MMPs and causes genetic mutations.

Medical researchers from Seoul National University in South Korea conducted an experiment to determine whether aloe vera could reduce wrinkles. Published results of the study are in the February 2009 edition of "Annals of Dermatology." Women, over age 45, were given aloe gel to take internally for 90 days. The highest dose given was 3,600 mg per day. The researchers found that a dose as low as 1,200 mg per day was enough to cause significant changes in wrinkles on the face. Wrinkle depth decreased and skin elasticity improved due to increased collagen production. The women did not experience any side effects from taking the aloe.

Topically – it repairs skin damage (burns, scars, wounds, acne), moisturizes your skin and promotes skin firmness
Internally –  it helps rebuild collagen (more of it and faster).
At the DNA level –  it fights to prevent collagen breakdown in the first place.

so, i figure, with all the stuff we're learning from each other and using in our daily lives, we'll be healthier, stronger and perkier than most of those around us rolling their IV stands and leaky guts through the check out. god knows i could use another cup size.  :/
