I’ve made the mistake sometimes due to the button layout and what it looks like with only half a second of glancing at it. I think the 3 in-post buttons should be “Quote”, “Multiquote” and “Report”. And the “New Reply” button should be right below the thread.

I've checked all the themes and made a change where necessary, so I can now say that the “New Reply” button does always appear right below the thread.
