BB is a lot pricier but I had wanted to try the formula. Given that I was not getting any results and I was not interested in continuing to try at full price (around $90 Canadian for one month's supply). I had seen some fellow users post here that they were able to get a discount from BB when they called, so that is what I did. However, BB seemed to take great offence to this.
Firstly to preface, I received a daily regimen document along with my order. One of the requirements was for body temperature to be 36.5 degrees Celsius or higher to work. When I called, the "BB Specialist" was getting very worked up about my body temperature even though I measured it during the call and it met the requirement. So I did not think my temperature was the reason that I was not getting results, but at one point she started shouting at me saying she was the BB Specialist (basically dismissing my comments as she supposedly knows better). I have never had any customer service representative from any other business raise their voice at me until now.
Then I got a response about my inquiry for a discount (screenshot attached). It seems like BB took great offence to my inquiry. It came off quite condescending to label a customer asking for a discount as negotiating/haggling. And the paragraph about "Let us ask you this? Have you asked other companies to give you a discount..." is very unnecessary. Why did they feel the need to write a whole paragraph about this, when they could've just left it at not being able to offer a discount and that could've been perfectly ok. Especially I don't feel that their example was relevant anyways, given that many businesses offer discounts, coupon codes and sales.
BB has been losing customers for a while and I understand why now. Save yourself from being yelled at and condescended. I will now try Swanson's since it is so much more affordable.
