Pumping question

#1

So I dont pump nor can I but I was reading a post in the other forum (nexum) and was curious how girls dont fill up with milk from pumping? Back when I used to pump at 19 years old (almost 8 years ago)  my breasts became so engorged with milk that whenever I would pump it would go everywhere in the cups! Its funny to remember this because I remember the awful swollen feeling I had and literally just had to press down on my breasts and it would go everywhere, funnily enough my prolactin wasnt crazy high either(its actually higher now) and my estrogen levels were very good in the high range actually, so maybe I was an anomaly but genuinely curious why we dont hear of more women who pump going through the same thing? Especially if they have breastfed before

I’ve never been pregnant, but I think the way people stop actual lactation when they pump for size is to take some combined birth control. The estrogen is supposed to stop the lactation, which is why it’s given when domp cycling.

Thats the thing though Im on strong bio identical estrogen much stronger than bcp and have been on it since I was 16 lol so maybe Im just an anomaly. Remembering how painful it was when my boobs were engorged with milk I cant imagine how uncomfortable it would be breastfeeding
