I don't look at it as "less is more", I think you need to give your boobs a break to recover from the stress of stretching during pumping. Another observation is that if you don't take a break for a day or 2 every week, take a week off every couple of months. I have read where women have gone on vacation for a couple of weeks, worried about missing their pumping time, and then being pleasantly surprised at great swelling when they get back to it, It takes about 3 months for swelling to become permanent.

Another observation, If you can do 4 hrs/day it is best to split it like morning and evening than all at once.

I’ve lost weight this month but haven’t lost any bust size. The difference between my underbust and bust measurements has actually increased by half an inch, and I think the change is visible, but only barely. I’m not sure yet whether that change came from actual growth or not. There were a few days over the first 3 weeks where I pumped at a higher pressure for 2 hours in one night, rather than only 1 hour. This week I pumped at high pressure for at least 2 hours every single night (except the night I missed), sometimes even 3 hours. So much for long time/low pressure pumping. I think I’ll post progress photos eventually, but probably not until week 12 or later.

I have an update about the referral discount code too. Evebra finally made me a “partner” and gave me a referral code. You can dm for it if you want it. It’s been a while since I applied, so I’m surprised. They do it through “Shopify Collabs” and I do not meet the minimum standards to join that program, so I figured they couldn’t add me as a partner even if they wanted to. Apparently a company can request for Shopify to let you join the collab program even if you don’t meet Shopify’s standards. I don’t know how common or uncommon that is. On the one hand, I think it speaks well of Evebra that they listen to random individual customers like me, and communicate with us above and beyond the bare minimum. On the other hand, if I can get my own referral code, probably almost anyone can. That means that random people who are absolutely not “influencers” may be more motivated to lie about their results. That’s not an attack against Evebra. It’s true of any company that gives away referral codes easily. To be fair, lots and lots of well known and respectable companies give referral codes to every single online customer. I get referral codes from random businesses in my email all the time, but I just ignore them. Evebra is actually being more selective about who they give their codes to than most other businesses.

I'm glad to hear you're starting to see progress even though EveBra has been such a pain to wear! For the entire first month that I owned EveBra, I could only tolerate it for around 3 hours a day. I absolutely couldn't sleep with it, either. After that first month of struggling, I decided to just tell myself I wasn't allowed to take it off until 12 hours were up. I basically did not sleep at first, and I had horrible back pain sleeping on my back. Very slowly over time, things got a bit easier. Pumping at higher pressures overnight helped me be able to sleep on my side without losing suction as easily. I experimented with so many different sleeping arrangements. I used pillows to help me shift my weight onto one side while laying on my back. I also found that I could sleep on my side while holding a stack of pillows against my chest to keep my arms separated. The silicone rims overlap in the center of my chest, and I found that I am more prone to leaks when the right rim is on top of the left rim, so I started making sure to have the left rim on top, kind of holding down the edge of the right rim as an extra seal against leaks. I also found that if I used too much of the petroleum jelly, I would leak more. I can't believe now it has been 34 weeks, and it is soooo much easier for me to wear EveBra than it was in the beginning. Hold out hope and be patient with yourself! Keep experimenting with little adjustments and see what works for you. Eventually, something clicked for me, and I really hope it does for you, too.

Reading this made me realize that I haven’t bothered to try sleeping on my side with Evebra. I can’t believe I didn’t even think to try it. I’m completely convinced that it’s impossible for me to sleep on my side with the Noogleberry system. They absolutely will not hold suction in that position. I’ll try sleeping on my side in the Evebra tonight. If it works, I’ll happily take back everything I said about regretting buying it. That alone would make this insanely expensive system totally worth it in my opinion. The only problem is that I don’t own an electric pump that can be adjusted to a higher pressure, so if higher pressure is necessary to get this to work, I’m up a creek unless I decide to spend another several hundred dollars on a wound vac.

Oh my gosh, here's hoping this is a solution for you! I gave up using electronic pumps entirely and at first just sucked out the air myself and tied it off with a hair tie. Now, I'm using a squeeze ball suction starter (like an aquarium hand pump) which makes things much easier. I keep it connected to the EveBra tubing at all times, like I would an electronic pump. I sleep with the squeeze ball in my pajamas pocket and if I wake up in the night as I roll over, I just reach to my pocket and give it a squeeze or two to make sure I maintain suction overnight. What it lacks in the convenience of an automatic pump it makes up for by being cheap and lightweight! You have full control over the pressure with a hand pump. Do you already have the Noogleberry hand pump? If you got connector piece to make the tubing diameters compatible between the two systems, you could just use that!

I personally don’t understand how anyone can sleep pump with a manual pump. You’re not the first person to manage to do it, but I just don’t get it. My manual pump has a gauge. Thanks to the gauge, I know that the pressure drops down almost to zero in around 15 or 20 minutes, at which point I have to pump again or I’ll lose suction completely. The noogleberry hand pump seems to “leak” pretty heavily though. I have owned air locks before, and the cups still fall off in an absolute maximum of 3 hours, and that’s only if I’m lucky and sleeping like a log. Not moving at all. If I’m unlucky, they can fall off after only a few minutes. I know some people have managed to sleep pump with nothing but their own mouth as a pump, and a plastic clip as an air lock, which is why I still recommend people try that out before spending lots of money on other things. Even so, I’m still flabbergasted and gobsmacked that that method actually works for some people.

BTW, I tried lying on my side with the Evebra, and it absolutely worked, although the pump was working overtime. The pump was kicking back on way more often than usual, which means the domes were “leaking” and then regaining suction over and over again. It still worked fine though. The only reason I’m not totally overjoyed is because it’s not really as comfortable as I imagined. I still have to lean back a bit while lying on my side. I’m sure you know what I mean by that, but I don’t know if it’ll make sense to other people reading this. I’m slightly in pain whenever my shoulders and hips aren’t perfectly stacked above one another while lying on my side. I could support myself with pillows like you do, but that would stop me from turning to my other side every few hours. The ability to sleep on my side, even uncomfortably, is still an improvement though, so thanks for giving me the idea to try it again.


I know this must sound like a ridiculous princess and the pea situation to most people reading this, but all I need for a good nights sleep is to be able to sleep on my side, switch sides every few hours, and not be woken up more than twice a night. If you’re reading this and you think those things apply to you too, think twice about trying sleep pumping, and start off with a cheap setup.

Today is the end of week 4. I have no idea why I thought last week was week 4. It was actually week 3. At least I managed to pump more than usual this week. I also did 2 hours of higher pressure pumping every night before my main session.

It’s the end of week 5. I’m still nowhere near reaching the number of pumping hours per night that I’ve been aiming for, but I’m convinced that I’m slowly acclimating to sleeping on my back and the pain might completely disappear in a month or two. Maybe that’s just wishful thinking, but my back definitely doesn’t hurt anywhere near as bad as it did in the beginning. I manually pumped at a higher pressure for about 2 hours a day as usual.
