For everyone who has both Brava domes and NB domes what is the main difference between them (other than the silicone rim)?

I have used both. The brava domes I have are Wide-Large and they are gigantic. You can literally bump into doorways trying to walk around in them and do things like clean and cook. The Brava domes are very heavy and you need to use the brava bra to keep them on and the smartbox or the manual suction, plus the prep to put them on. You have to take a lot of time to care for them after removing them by washing and properly storing them. Since you wear them so long you have to care for your skin or you'll get a rash. The first time I put them on it's like having an elephhant sit on your chest - but it does get better in time.

The Noogleberry domes are lightweight and plastic, much like a plastic drinking cup. The medium domes I have are lightweight and they are much smaller and there is no silicone. They are very hard on your rib cage though whereas the brava is cushioned by the silicone rim, but you have to take good care of the rims and not get anything on them like lotion. With NB, you can basically take them off and you are done and you put lotion on the rims to get them to suction to your chest.

If you're trying to decide which to do, I'd say start with NB and see if it works. If not you can progress to Brava which will tie you down a mimimum of 10 hours a day.

Thanks for your response. I've been using NB for about a year and a half now (off and on). I like it and have responded well to it so far. I have heard that Brava domes are more comfortable though and are better designed than NB domes so I was considering springing for some. EBay has some available right now. Somebody over on the NB forum (I can't remember who) is using Brava domes with an NB pump and is getting great results so I thought it might be worth looking into. Thanks again.

HI there, yes, the brava domes are way more comfy, and if you noogle (or would like to) for longer periods of time, I fully recommend them!

Sorry I didn't see your response sooner. I put a bid in on a new pair of wide medium Brava domes about a month ago on Ebay. I didn't win which is just as well because they ended up selling for around 380 USD! Yikes! I had no idea they were that expensive. I think I'll go for BB domes instead.

Hey Frostedmint, it's been a long long time....get the Brava domes, I paid full UK price for mine (prob about $4k so far - well worth it), nothing else really compares. You'll want to bin them for the first week then it can only get better...put the hours in and you'll get a good result. Bosom beauty (BB2012) is pretty good too but you'll need padding otherwise it feels like it's going to go through your chest and come out your back! You're supposed to use for max 1hr then at least 10hrs before using again but I've done 2hrs straight with no adverse effect. I'd say 1hr BB is worth about 3hrs with Brava in terms of swelling - not sure if that's a good predictor for longterm growth. I've been off here for ages as although I feel like I could do with being bigger I'm happy enough with my results to not put the effort in. As a former suction addict my boobs still respond so I can get massive swelling pretty quickly if I should need to look like a porn star for any reason! (Also I'm still a cup size bigger 2 days later after 1 session).

Hope everything's going well for you, tc

Hi Louise,

Great to hear from you. Although we didn't exchange very many emails I always read your posts and found them very informative and entertaining. Glad to hear you are happy with your results. That's awesome! I don't have a lot of extra money right now so can't afford to go all out on this. I'm still currently using my NB pump and domes ( which I know you don't like-I read the posts!) I was hoping to be able to switch up the NB domes for a different type, ones that are perhaps more comfortable and better designed. This is just my opinion but I think the NB domes can sometimes give the boobs a funny shape based on the pictures on the NB forum. I don't want my boobs to look like that hence my desire to switch them. As for using BB, anything that has been described as tit-rippingly strong is not for me! I've heard that the BB domes are good though. In order to purchase Brava domes separately I have to be a registered user right? I was hoping to luck out Ebay with the domes I saw a while ago. With the exchange it would have worked out to 400 CAD. My husband would have blown a gasket if I bought them as he already complains constantly about how much money I spend on what he refers to as 'boob stuff'. Note to self-go back to school, get my own job and buy as much 'boob stuff' as I want! Hope all is well with you and congrats on achieving your goal. Cheers.

Brava Domes / NB Domes

I am frustrated with noogleberry domes. I attempt to use the large domes for a better swell, but they just plain hurt my ribs. Plus, I use them daily if I can, but summer is making that difficult. I don't feel like I am using them often enough or for long enough that I am EVER going to get a real swell going.

I am dreading it, but seriously considering another brava cycle in the fall, after we go to Florida in October.

In my opinion, you should start Brava again, it was working well for you. I have noticed that my breast grow 1/4 of an inch every 12 weeks. I'm in my 23rd week, I saw 1/4 increase on my 12th week, now I'm seeing another 1/4 increase on my 23rd weeek. I started with each breast measuring 6 inches, now it's 6 1/2; my goal is 7 inches for each breast. I used to be 31 inches around the breasts, now I'm 32. For me, it's a very slow process, but I will do as much as it takes to get to 33.

StacyEllen, that's a pain (pun intended) that noogle isn't working out for you. I wonder if you'd be better off getting the odd hour with the noogle pump using the brava domes. That way you could still do a couple of things while it's on...

Or just wait and do another cycle. You've had good luck with the slooooow but sure growth with brava.

I have tried "noogling" with the Brava domes, but the breasts don't seem to swell at all. It's like the Brava domes are too big. The silicone rims start to roll in and the hard plastic digs in before any swelling even begins. I would be curious if anyone else has noogled with Brava domes. I have given up on the noogleberry domes altogether. There is absolutely no way I can get them to stay on. I just don't have enough breast tissue. If I could figure out how to create some rapid and temporary swelling with the Brava domes it would be perfect.

BB cups/domes compatible with NB?
June 25 2008 at 7:45 AM Princess Pearl (no login)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I do not feel much bigger than when I began NB, but the pull I get from the NB large cups leave me wanting more. I hesitate to get the XL NB cups since they do not form to the body and the L are hard enough to deal with. Has anyone successfully used BB cups with the NB pump? I saw just the cups on ebay for about 50 bucks...ouch! But if they work fine with the NB pump, I'll get them!

According to the ladies on the forum yes they are interchangeable. I think I remember Louise also mentioned using them together. Maybe she could give more advice.

thanks! what I did was ask the ebay seller and she said they fit, so I will get back and report how the XL's worked!

Funny because I am a B or small C, and to even fill the Large cup was unexpected.

Yep, they are interchangeable - the BB domes are slightly more expensive but a much much better shape and size - deeper and not so wide. The NB large are similar width to BB large but less depth than BB medium, definitely get the BB cups!

Got the BB and the Noogleberry
November 1 2007 at 5:48 PM Louise (no login)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Can't resist gadgets! Was going to give these ago after I'm done with brava just to see if there is any truth in them or if they really are too good to be true (got both for under £150). Obviously when they arrived couldn't just let them sit there so had a quick go using the BB pump with my brava domes and it was actually quite pleasant on the massage setting at about 2 o'clock position - only did a few mins because it's bad for the domes. Today a couple of hours after taking the brava off I thought I'd have another fiddle and was really excited as the NB large dome is as deep as the brava large (and about as deep as BB medium but not pointy) but quite wide and I want fullness and roundness. Could I get the damn things to seal! Because they're stiff and not curved like BB they just don't stay on, even using one at a time with foam padding as soon as I got a seal the boob got pulled forward and pulling forward means less at the side and the seal breaks. I then tried the BB medium which is narrower and pointier but gives the same depth. Got a seal and used the massage setting for about 25 mins until cups were full and nipples touching the end. Not sure if the suction gets progressively stronger as I started at about 2 o'clock but had to turn down to about 11-12 o'clock and by the end it was hurting by pulling the armpit skin and could hardly move my arms (had to pull the tube out as I couldn't reach the buttons!). After this short session my boobs were ?smaller than before but may have been just a shape change (they really were pointy like pixie tits!) and may just have been the swelling going down and I hadn't looked for like an hour because I was fiddling with my new toys. Slightly worried by this as it is a pull but also a squeeze and brava specifically told me not to massage so I'll leave the BB alone now until I finish my session - don't want to come this far and mess it up.

The question is what do I do about domes for the BB / NB? The medium aren't deep anough and the large are too wide, brava domes are expensive and more flexible so don't know if they can stand the pressure.

(Alcest, sorry to have advised you against using both then tried it myself, I would've told you if I felt it worked!)

Hey louise !! i found the large and xl large BB dome site, (they didnt have the xl when i first got it, they were only availabe from china, anyhow you can order large domes from them which are 90 mm? i kno the medium bb domes are about 80 mm(not sure if its mm or ml)
but i know the large bb domes are only slightly larger width but more depthh hence 90mm
hope that helps

Louise
(no login) Re: Got the BB and the Noogleberry November 1 2007, 7:48 PM

I've got the info from BB and NB:

NB:

Small: Base diameter = 9cm Height = 9cm
Medium: Base diameter = 11.5cm Height = 11.5cm
Large: Base diameter = 13.5cm Height = 12.5cm

BB:

M - 105mm diameter and 125mm depth
L - 120mm diameter 130mm depth
XL - 135mm diameter and 150mm depth

The BB cups have less volume as they are more pointy at the ends.

There's only extra half cm in the BB large, obviously more volume as they're wider but don't know if they'd be too wide. May have to have a look at the bosom buddeez group to see if silicone sheeting would help. (Or give some of that bubble wrap a go!). It's really annoying because I'm not abnormally skinny so don't know why they don't fit - guess I should be glad that the brava ones do fit.

Has anyone using BB found that it made your boobs weird and pointy?

Hey Louise, You are so funny....pixie tits! I had to share that one with my husband and he had a nice laugh. He often remarks about the odd shape of the boobies when they are in the BB. The medium domes do make a pointier shape, especially as you begin to fill them to the end. The large domes give a much nicer shape with more swelling on the top. The only way I've found to get suction is to place the oblong end up high on the chest. Then, when you swell it makes them nice and round both on the sides and at the top.I'm getting ready to start my sixth week and I'm measuring 36.5 now which is another half inch larger than a week or so ago. I'm quite happy with the shape, no real changes in the nipples. They do stick straight out when the domes come off but slowly return to normal. I sometimes have the problem of the domes sucking up my armpits too! Kinda makes you panic when your boobs are attached to a device you can't get turned off! I've had to yank the tubing a few times too! Best of luck with both. I am waiting on my NB to arrive. I just got notification that it had shipped Wednesday. Oh my...I do think we are titty obsessed. Have a great weekend! LucyB

BB dome equivalents to NB cups?
February 23 2009 at 10:05 AM Noogler (no login)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sorry for the repost - forgot the subject....

Hi, I've been noogling for a while now with great results. I've just noticed that the Bosom Beauty domes are shaped at the base - just like I wish the NB ones were. If I were to switch over to the BB domes, but use it like a NB with the same pump etc, I'm wondering which size domes would be equivalent. The various sites have measurements, but it's a bit tricky to tell, with inside/outside diameters/different shapes etc. WOuld anyone please be able to say what's roughly equivalent to a large NB cup? Base diameter's pretty important to me as I have a v small ribcage.

Anyhoo - I would be hugely grateful to anyone who could shed some light on NB to BB translation! Thanks Smile

OK - so I'm answering my own question - hope it helps someone!

I ordered the large size Bosom Beauty cups (arrived just then!) and they are slightly bigger than the NB large domes - so that's good in that they're not a step backwards and I can use them soon. Even though i LOVE the service at NB, the forum totally rocks and it's a great product that really works, the BB has a few features that are a design improvement. The bit at the top where you attach the tube is facing sidewards instead of out the top - so the tubes don't bend shut when you have clothes against them. The base is curved - a perfect fit to my tiny ribcage! Even though it's slightly wider it fits better with easy suction (fewer farts). The plastic has a slight bounce to it - it's not as brittle as the NB plastic, so maybe splits/cracks might be less likely - time will tell. I think they are about 4 British pounds difference for a pair - well worth the extra if you have a narrow ribcage. I'm using all the NB tubing/pump, so I'm only half a traitor!!

Hello,

i am a fellow noogler, but fed up at the moment for 2 reasons which I wonder if you can shed light on!

1. the large cups don't stay on at them same time because rib cage too narrow - do you think BB would work better? The medium are too small and squash my boobs up inside them, which I don't think will achieve the desired efect!

2. Also get horrible ring marks and have a nasty looking spot of broken blood vessels through using the large - any advice re avoiding or reducing?!

It would be good to know how much you pump too - I can only do it once a day which is why I really need to do both boobs at the same time, otherwise it takes soooo long.

How are you doing in terms of growth? Happy to compare notes!

Thanks for reading.

(no login) Re: BB dome equivalents to NB cups? March 12 2009, 12:44 AM

Hi there - yes you would prob have more of a chance of getting 2 of the BB on at once. The large NB foam rings fit the large BB cups perfectly btw. Whether that ends up with too much bulk in the middle with two on at once I guess depends on your individual physique.

I seem to get the red dots where the cups touch the skin - so my red dots have much improved - however some people find that the increased pressure of going up a size gives them more dots. The red rings are not as bad with the BB as you don't have to go crazy with the pressure to keep them on, the shaping gives better suction. I pump a total of 1 and a half hours per day (in two sessions).

One other thing I noticed was that the next size after the large in the BB is not such a huge jump as in the NB from large to XL, good for those of us with narrow chests.

My progress is good and steady - I've been very consistent and patient - I think this is important!

Bosom Beauty domes work with Noogleberry?

The BB cups are bigger than the NB cups but not as bigger as you think because they are more pointy at the ends which reduces the volume. I personally think the BB cups are better, but I can't remember now how hard the plastic with the NB cups was as it was a while ago when I used them.

NG dome vs. Brava dome

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Before I go ahead and order two NG domes, I am wondering if someone could tell me if the different shape really makes a difference.

I have an old set of Brava domes I could rip the silicone rims off of. But, it looks like the hard edge might be pretty sharp. I can't tell. I also notice they are a different shape than the NG domes.

I want to try NG along with Brava - either before my Brava session, or to do a little boost during the summer when we will have a house guest living with us and I will have to do my Brava hours (I don't want to hibernate in my room for 12 hours, so I will probably have to reduce to 10 hours/day and then supplement with NG)

So - does the shape of a medium NG dome create a different type of swelling, or will I get the same effect with a rimless Brava dome?

I've got no idea Roakie. It's hard to tell. One of the girls here did it and seems to be happy with it. I guess if what you're hoping for is to get some growth closer together, it may work. If you've got a useless old pair, there's no harm in trying. Make sure you use plenty of moisturizer!

I agree, there's no harm in trying if you don't still need the domes. Noogleberry domes are perfectly round and the mediums are probably a little smaller than rimless Brava domes, but not sure. I think I remember they are 12mm across. The one thing I would wonder is if the Brava domes are reinforced enough at the rim to take the pressure without cracking if there is no silicone there to spread out the force. Cracking happens even with NB domes sometimes. But if you used a cut up yoga mat or the Blue-tac that some ladies on the NB site have had success with, maybe that would help.
Good luck, it will be interesting to know if it works.

Thanks to both of you! I think I will order two of the NG domes for now. I thought I might try the Brava dome simply because when I ordered the pump, it took about 3 weeks to get here. But since I am in no rush, maybe I will order them to see how they might make a "different shape" breast! Plus, they look much lighter in weight which might be nice.

This should be an interesting experiment. I will keep you all informed.

How are both of you doing in progress with Brava, by the way?

oh Roakie,
I'm having a setback. I accidentally left my domes in a hotel room hours away, and had to miss a night. My breasts look even smaller than they were if that's possible! My husband left at 4.30 am this morning to travel back to get them. Needless to say he hates the things now, and is convinced it's a scam and doesn't work! He is turned off me sexually too, always seeing me in the stupid looking things. He's trying to convince me to stop. I'm only a month in, so can't really expect growth, but try explaining that to him!!! I gave myself blisters a week ago, so I've been plastered in ugly scar bandaids since then. Not very sexy, apparently. I keep telling him it's only a couple of more months, but he loved the way I USED to cuddle him at night, and misses it.

Hi, tr1gger!

What a sweet husband, driving back to get the domes. My husband would do the same thing!
I am fortunate that my husband is very supportive of me wearing these domes. I guess after staying home to raise 3 children to adulthood and being married 27 years, he figures this is my chance to work on myself. I hate wearing these frickin things, but I am determined to give it my all.

Plus, the misery I have felt these last few years with no breasts has really taken its toll. I am not just the normal, small-breasted women. I have nothing. So, I know he is supporting me for myself - not for him. He has never once been turned off by me and my breast size. And to be honest, I was perfectly happy with my breasts until the last few years when menopause hit and I lost every bit of superficial padding on my upper torso, leaving rib bones exposed.

Dont' be discouraged. I can't remember how small-breasted you started out, but it was likely bigger than me.

I started noticing more actual retention at about week 20! I know that is hard to hear but that is me. My age and thinness and lack or hormones after menopause are a big factor.

I ordered Goat's Rue extract from Motherlove and have been taking them for about 5 weeks. I ordered the noobleberry pump which has provided more suction. I got serious about chicken feet soup and the thick collagen broth 2 weeks ago. Then I added massage before I put on the domes at night starting last week.

These four things are what I believe is finally making Brava work for me. I am getting far more swelling and more retention by the time I put the domes back on each night. I still have twenty-four weeks to go, and I will do it so I don't look back and feel I didn't give it my all. Then I will supplement with noogleberry.

I don't see anything wrong with you taking the domes off for an hour or so each morning to cuddle and have some romance. Then, stick them back on for another 2 hours when your husband leaves for work. That should still work just fine. And, you hubby will probably start anticipating this morning escapade and start actually liking the domes since he can look forward to you taking them off!!!!

P.S. One thing that StacyEllen told me is what has really kept me going......She said to remember that growing breasts takes patience. We are growing new tissue "drop by drop" and it is not going to happen quickly. Hang in there, tr1gger. He is not going to divorce you over this! There are some times we just HAVE to do something for ourself. I will be here with you all the way, cheering you on! don't give up.

Thanks Roakie, you have me giggling here, imagining us all here plastered in our domes slowly growing breasts! It was nice to get some encouragement. It's pretty discouraging when you've been so diligently doing it for what SEEMS like ages, and you are faced with the fact that it's not done anything yet! I also wondered if my missed night caused me to be back to day one?! Oh God no!

Anyway, husband made it back from the five hour drive, domes in hand, and not too worse for wear. I admit I'd stopped taking the domes off for morning cuddles, (got swelling greedy!!), and that might be when a bit of resentment set in! Thanks for reminding me.

wow, this is no easy challenge for any of us...yet I believe it will be worth it in the end, if only to know we tried our best and not to have to wonder! I'm a tiny bit discouraged at the moment too, just because it has been almost 9 weeks and when I left the domes off for about 14 hours a few days ago, there was little measurable retention to speak of, it almost seemed like at the end of 10 weeks which is when I have to stop for now, there will be little or nothing. Yet there is some fullness even if not measurable, and my old bras did feel tighter even after the 14 hours. So, maybe this time around I will have to be content with that, and hope for more next time.
Still taking some minimal herbs but not using Ro-bust cream at the moment, I thought maybe it wasn't helping with skin. I will probably go back to that after I finish this course of Brava.
Good luck ladies. Your husbands sound like sweethearts.

I hear you molehills. I think it's going to be a longer journey for most of us than we secretly hope when we start. I had imaginings of being a 'fast responder' (even though the statistics weren't in my favor), and the truth setting in after all the effort and dedication is a bit of a blow. I think I'm similar to Roakie in that my pectoral muscles show signs of growth as there's a bit of a bulge above the breast where there didn't use to be, but so far no actual breast tissue growth which is what I'm really hoping for as the larger pecs show signs of altering the nice perky shape by pushing the nipple downwards (or more like straight out) slightly. I guess it's filled in a bit where the upper emptiness created a bit of a ski jump. So long as the breast tissue eventually catches up it won't be a problem. Otherwise I could have done fifty push ups a day instead...

Anyway, early days for me, and for you too, molehills. I know you when you started the ten weeks you knew it was a bit of a longshot that much growth would occur, however it's the hope that get's you! It's good that you can notice something, as apparently that's how it starts out. Many women only noticed some retention around week 17. I'm sure that when you do another cycle you're body will be ready to respond more readily, and you've probably set yourself up for some good growth.

Will you be able to noogle perhaps for a half hour a day, just to keep things going?

thanks tr1gger...well, certainly I hope you're right about responding better next time. I won't be able to noogle as I'm going on a trip with my boyfriend and I don't want him to know about it yet...anyway I let go of my NB cups a little while ago. It will be fine...I'll continue with Ro-bust and some herbs and massage anyway.
Just to add to what I said before, to put things into perspective from someone who would love to be happily married, it's way more important that you both have such loving husbands than to have big boobs anyway! So no matter what, you have plenty of reason to feel goodSmile
