i started swelling a lot from the 3rd week or so. was swelling as much as a small D sometimes. i never crossed that line though. i keep the swelling longer. does that apply for everyone or did u swell more and more each week?

To a degree yes but it does settle down eventually.

I started as an almost A cup. If i wear the system for over 30 hours consecutivly i have attained a small DD It last for about 3-5 hours then goes down to a D after about 12-14 hours down to a C. With just a normal 14-16 hour session i see a small D to a D. then back down to my C. So after 4105 hours wearing the system total i have probably attained a full B to a C cup. so from starting with hardly nothing i consider that a very nice result. Of course i won't know till i finish with the full session and as of midnight sept 16 i have 1373 more hours to go to attain my goal. Then i will take a month or two off and see where i am.

I will however keep a set of domes so i can get that boost from time to time. I like the morning swelling.

i hate the morning swellingSmile lol they are toooo big for me i'm very slim 114 lbs at 5'8" and with a small D i look like a porn star. after about 3 hours i go down to a C cup and that is just perfect. anyway i guess it's the same for me. do u remember the growth u had at week 17?

what sucks for me is that i do what i do and once every 2 weeks i lose seal over night. last night i think i did it myself. i think i wanted to suck some air out but fell back asleep while doing it and didn't get to connect the smartbox back. or i connected it but not well. funny but sad. i can have an ideea about how many hours i had no seal by the morning swelling and i don't think i can say i went back a whole week but it still sucks. how do u manage to keep ur seal all the time?

I didn't get D cup swelling till about week 7 but can now get to about full DD or even E with maybe 20 hours wear. I wore it constantly for almost 5 days and didn't get further swelling just a rash so I guess thats my lot! I'm a D for about 4 hours, then maybe C for another 4-6. Decent 34B, small 32C at end of day. Left Brava off for about 36 hours while travelling and up 0.75 inches from starting so hope this shows something is happening. (This is week 11). I'm nearly halfway through what I intended to do as 1 session so if I can get 1.5 inches over 6 months I think that's a fair result. Less than 0.5 and I will not be a happy bunny! Good luck girls.

lately i've been taking longer beaks. at least 10 hours a day constantly. so i achive my minimum point before i put them on. and those are the conditions for my question. if i leave it off for only a few hours and i still have good swelling when i put it on, i swell more and more too. but that's hard to do. still, even if i'm fully deflated Smile, i notice i swell up really fast. only wish i could sleep more peacefully and not roll in bed a lot and lose suction. noticed that i always keep that extra 1.5cm and that's good. hope to get more in time and that it's permanent growth.

i hate that i lost my before picture. but i'll still find a good one and in the end post pictures with the permanent result. anyway i intend to stop in spring so it's a long journey for me.

Lexy, you say you move around a lot in bed, I use 4 pillows behind me and two at one side and a big teddy bear at the other to squash me into position - it's really comfy and there's no room to move! I only use airlock with no alarm and have not lost suction once over night. (Sucking it on tight helps too)

Bra Size ?

I am seriously thinking of buying the Brava system, but I have a question. I know there is swelling in the morning and it decreases by evening....so, if you're a C in the AM, but shrink to a B in the PM, what size bra do you wear during the day? Or, is the swelling so minimal that you can get away with wearing the B all day?

Thanks for the info!

If your swelling goes up to C in the morning, you should wear a C cup. if you wear a B cup, your bra will be pressing against your breast and cause your swelling to go down faster. It's better to keep your swelling as long as possible because the longer your swelling stays the faster you get results.

I'm assuming it depends on how quickly our body gets rid of excess water, your metabolism, genes etc. I'm guessing this is Brava domes we're talking about here?

How quickly do you usually deflate? Take that----and multiply it by the longer session and.....there you go I guess. I don't know exactly how long the swelling will last.
I don't think it's possible to really say.

Though they probably swelled up really big from that long of wear so of course it will take longer to go down the larger they are.

How on Earth did you manage to wear them for 72 hours? 12 hours drove me insane :-P

72 hours probably causes DAMAGE. In fact, any oedema (swelling) is a sign of tissue damage.

does bigger swelling = more real growth?

Girls, from your experiences, is it true that if your breasts swell up really big after suction session then maybe there are more chances that you will get more real growth?

Really not sure about this, I don't think it's the swelling itself that does anything but I think it's likely that the strong suction that gives better swelling also causes more growth.

i'm hoping it will. I did get swelling from BB but never as big as what you got from it. I didn't get much swelling and I didn't get much growth (1/2 inch maybe) with BB. Since i get much more swelling (hope to swell up to DD cup like you) from Brava so just hoping there will be some real growth.

After giving a 2nd try with BB, i think you're very lucky if you could gain 1'' in 8 weeks. i guess 1/2" is better than nothing...... i don't think i would use BB again. I will try NB instead after I finish Brava and that will be months later..

No apparently not.The swelling has nothing to do with the amount of growth you will get.The swelling is simply blood rushing to your tissue to protect it.The gentle suction with small swelling will still give results.Your body only produces one drop of new breast tissue a day when you wear a system that is designed for real tissue growth like Brava etc.Pump systems like Noggleberry are designed just to pump blood into the tissue for instant results and is not designed for real tissue growth. You must also make sure you dont let your breasts go purple as this can damage your breast tissue.I have even heard some women pumping so hard their nipples bleed. How mad is that!I have read up so much on tissue expansion and yes it can work but only with the right product and right treatment. Some of these forums encourage women to pump hard etc and let their breasts go purple not realising the damage they could cause women.I am training to be a nurse so I am going to find out everything I can about tension induced tissue expansion so I can share it with you all!

The Brava coach did tell me that more important than swelling when removing the domes is the swelling you retain before you put the domes on again. You definitely don't want to damage your breasts. I am a very cautious person so I don't think I'd try the other systems even if they are cheaper. Also, I know airlock is cheaper and people have had success with it, but I would prefer to stick with using the box that regulates pressure to prevent damage to domes and/or breasts.

I had the box at home but actually preferred the airlock. I airlocked it as hard as I could stand for 5.5 months (after using the smartbox for 1.5 months). I grew 1.5 cups while losing 15 lbs. Brava does work, and my boobs were purple and absolutely scary huge when I took the domes off. They're back to normal now but again go purple when I use BB, it wears off after about 10 mins.

March 14 2009 at 3:39 AM edp (Login edp84)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

hi
i have been doing brava for three days
first two days for 8 hours
and one day for 10 hours like it says on the dvd

my question in about swelling
my breasts seem to be swollen when i first take the domes off
but the swelling goes down quickly

i thought the swelling was meant to last a long time like until you put the domes back on
but my swelling last like an hour
will the swelling last longer when i start wearing the domes for longer?
thanks for your help

Hi there. Welcome to the Brava club. Typically you will swell up about 1" bigger than normal, and by lunch time the swelling is all gone. When you put the domes on 10+ hours later at night, you will be the same size you started at until you get actual growth, which happens somewhere between the 30th-45th day of using Brava. Each day you get about 1 drop full of actual growth on average. Keep posting and let us know how you're doing.
