is this normal??

#1

i took the pm from siriporn for my first cycle but when it came around to get my period again i felt a rather large ball in my right breast.. it hurt to sleep on my stomach and i got worried that it was something serious. when my period ended the bump went away and the doctor said that it was normal thing since the breast probably swelled with fluid.

My problem is this has never happened to me before should i lay off the pm?

I know it has said that pm prevents breast cancer buuut i did read about it from the internet and well thats not a very reliable source.
Has something like this happened to anyone else?

Thank you! I thought 19 was too young to get breast cancer, I was really worried.

If you dont mind me asking..What days did you take pm? Starting on the first day of my period caused it to come late the next cycle. Worse thing was my period was super painful! Which it normally isn't Sad
Should I start taking PC?

i take it everyday because i wouldnt know when to cycle in on the depo provera(progesterone contraceptive injection) wich stops periods and ovulation so i dont have to worry about pm messing up my periods Smile
When im done with my 3rd month im taking a week off to cleanse estrogen receptors.
But you could look at ginies program i know she cycles pm based on the chiyomilk(japanese blog)

You should have it inspected by a doctor, they will probbaly do ultrasound thing. It can be anything, so instead of worring what it can be - go to a doctor. When it comes to any type of tumors in a breast then it is mainly assosiated with either high prolactin or estradiol, have those two checked. Also lumps are just fibroids and you noticed it when there was more water retension than normal (this is what elevated estrogen does to the body). Talk to your doctor about it.

Oh! I forgot to say that I did see a doctor but it was after my period ended so the lumps were gone. She said that the breasts do swell with liquid but should fade after your period. I didn't know this since its never happened to me before.

I asked this question because I didn't know if this happened to anyone else.
My doctor did mention something about fibrous breast but I didn't have anything to worry about cancer-wise.
