PM and Menopause/Older Ladies

#1

Hi all,

There seems to have been a lot of chat lately on the PM subject and some
new ideas on methods of usage.
Just wanted to check things up for us older ladies who may be at the menopause stage and wondering if PM is worth trying.
I have not had a period for about 10 months now so thinking probably
over and done with them now. I have been on PM for 2 months now
I take every day as was advised, I also use Noogleberry.
Is it OK to take PM every day? Should one take a break? If so when?
Should I ramp up as presumably I have lower oestrogen than a pre-menopausal female?
I have not noticed any changes or growth with the PM and not really grown with
Noogleberry. Sad
Is there any thing that us older ladies can do for NBE as I have researched
the forum but there do not seem to be many of us here who have been successful.
If like me you wont give up on your body and take a pride
in keeping yourself looking good and feeling great for as long as possible then do speak up. Tongue

Hi,

Yes I think its OK for you to take PM everyday. The only people who shouldn't are those that still menstruate and wish to keep their cycle, regular.

Some women take a break after every 3 months. But these are usually premenopausal women with naturally higher levels of estrogen. I would say go until you feel that your growth has stalled or if you ever get signs of being estrogen dominant.

I think two months might be a bit soon to notice growth. Give it more time. You may also need to look into your dosages. Most premenopausal women take 1000 mg a day or less (depending on the brand of PM). Some of the men with less estrogen go up to 3000 mg.

Also, do you use collagen 1 and 2 as part of your regimen? I notice a lot of growing pains when I take collagen. A lot of other women on the forum have reported the same. If you take collagen, also be sure to take hyaluronic acid. They complement each other.

Finally also look into taking HGH (Human Growth Hormone) releasers such as GABA, Arginine etc. Once a person reaches 30 HGH levels drop drastically. Using the HGH releasers would help boost your HGH levels. Good luck.
