This was in my Green Pharmacy book.
Cumin (Cuminum cyminum)& Black Cumin (Nigella sativa)
Research was done on female lab animals and it showed that cumin increases the number of mammary cells.
It didnt say which cells of the breast,it sounds like glandular cells from the way it was worded.
I havent had time to check this out yet.He doesnt have an Bibliography in the book,so I dont know where the study was done.

Cumin is a phytoestrogen, but not a particularly strong one.

It actually may have some compounds that are progesterogenic.
The study said mammary cells, like the actual glands, this is usually the action of progesterone in the breast tissue.
I still havent been able to get time to check this out.
