itsjust4fun91's Program Page

(05-10-2011, 22:32)soonenough Wrote:  Wooo, fantastic news. I find Siriporn pm pills to be strong for its low dosage.

anyway, I have a question. Remember when you responded to my inquiry as to when is the best time to get the full hormones panel test? I'm on my 4th cycle with Siriporn pm, do I wait to get off of it for a month break before I have my test, or can I go for it even while on pm?

Thanks so much, it'sjust4fun. I think I'm going to save that test, although I know I can get my doctor to give me another hormone panel test if I have to. Where do you go to get the saliva test for hormones?

BTW, I copied and paste your program with Siriporn pm. Scared to try to progesterone cream, but I'll dabble with pc little by little, maybe starting this cycle (I'm on day 10), every other day starting on day 14. I believe I can try yours since I'm already taking the multi-vit, Vit C, MSM, Siriporn pm (100 mg on day 1-5, and 200 mg for days 6-12), and already using Robust cream. With noogling, I have the same swelling consistently when using Robust cream and breast cream during noogling, and when I take 100 mg Siriporn and 2400 mg Carlson's MSM before noogling. I believe it's the Robust cream. When I forget to apply Robust cream before noogling, my swelling is so so, barely .25 inch, but when I apply Robust, it's a consistent 1" to 1.5" swelling on each breast (I noogle separately). Also, the swelling lasts for 4 hours, sometimes 6 hours. My target is to stay at 38" since everytime I swell after noogling, it's around 38" (+ or - 0.25). I deflate back to the usual 36.75 - 37.25" range.

THanks so much. I love reading your posts.

Out of all of the things we try here in NBE I would say that PC should be the one you least need to be afraid of. It's a pretty awesome little cream and in my opinion a God send to have handy when messing with one's hormones.

As for the online hormone test I use. For a full panel I use this one. Hormone Test

It's listed as a menopause test, but it's the most complete panel you can get for the price and it's the exact same test they charge more for after calling it a female hormone panel. silly imo. Anyway, I do think they have changed something recently though because this last test included 3 vials and ended up also providing a cortisol test as well as the others... now that's a bargain! It cost 140 for all of these test and shipping is included the the 140 is the full price.

PS. Which pm program of mine did you copy? I wanted to make sure it was my original one and not the one I just posted that is an experiment. LOL, I would hate for anyone to end up with a bad hormone month due to getting my wrong program.

The pm program that you just posted today, October 10, 2011. I'm turning 47 very soon, so that puts me in the same category as you, in between phases? I took Thanyaporn last Feb to April 2011 (the ones in the pink bottle- Philli in the noogleberry board uses this pm brand), 2 little pills all throughout the month, and did not experience any problems. It's when I upped it to 6 pills a day (greedy), that my period extended to 33 days, which is the first time ever it happened to me.

What do you think? I'm turning 47, never had any hormonal prob., no health problems at the moment, regular cycles all my life, still have regular cycles, etc.

It's just a thought. This Oct. 22 will be the 3rd month of using Siriporn pm, and I'm thinking of taking a month break, just noogling, massaging and taking vit./supplements. This way I can have my hormones test done and see where I am.

Thanks so much.

I would say if you haven't experienced any symptoms of hormone problems then you are still considered to be in the ovulating catagory, so I'm really not sure in your case, THOUGH since you have taken the thanyporn throughout the month before that does make me more hopeful that this program can work. We have to keep in mind though that siriporn is alot stronger from what I understand.
I would guess, if you have been on it for 2 months already with no changes in your cycle, then it may very well work just fine for you. I would really want you to get more input on that from others such as Isabelle though.

You know some women don't really have strong symptoms when they begin their perimenopause or even menopause. You might be one of those lucky women. If you are, count your lucky stars, it's a real blessing, but that could explain why taking the pm throughout the month didn't effect your cycles.

When I say I'm in that inbetween, I've been diagnosed as going into early menopause. I had almost completely stopped making progesterone or estrogens. It was a nightmarish experience. Mine was chemically induced by a interaction of some sort with Chantix. I have made progress on bringing my hormones back up, so it may be reversible if I find the right treatment, hence my experimenting with pm.

Anyway, hopefully Isabelle will read this and chime in and anyone else that has more experience with the pm than I do. BO and progesterone I know front and back. PM, I'm still learning and researching, so it will be awhile before I can feel confident in saying much on it.

Hi Mel,

I hadn't followed Soonenough closely lately. The 33 day cycle on 6 Thanyaporn pills, and no problems so far with a conservative schedule on Siriporn (100 mg on day 1-5, and 200 mg for days 6-12), look consistent with other users' experience. It does confirm my theory that a low dose during the period doesn't hurt.

Hi Soonenough,

How long have you been on this schedule with Siriporn? How long were the cycles?

Thank you for sharing this much already: a lot of women on the forum struggle with PM cycling.

So as I stated yesterday that I most likely would do, I have already edited the posted program a bit. I changed my lowest dose to during my period and then a regular dose thoughout the month with the exception of a few days of none for ovulation. I may or may not leave it this way.
I'm not sure if the 50mg during my period will be enough to keep enough estrogen in my system to prevent migraines or not. While it is the lowest estrogen point for women in their cycle for me, it takes me so low I can barely function. I get facial pressure, dizziness migraine and confusion from the pain. Basically I can't understand what someones saying to me during a migraine just because my brain is too busy registering the pain.
I have found some relief from this in the last few months with estriol cream. It was almost completely gone while on the constant bcp which I can no longer take. Once my period starts if the 50 doesn't cut it, I will bump it up to 100 and hope that works.

Hi Mel,

Be careful when using estriol in combination with PM. Estriol can decrease estradiol, and the people who did the research have formulated a hypothesis about the mechanism:

This hypothesis suggests that the decrease in estradiol is not merely a stalling effect.

I don't like having to use it since it's a short fix, so I try not to with the exception of during my period when things get bad. My hope in working with pm is that I won't have to use it at all any longer. I would rather something more stable that brings releif 24-7 rather than something that brings relief for a few hours. When my hrt was taken from me after refusing the merina, I was desperate to find something that helped me through the cold turkey stop. My gyno thought the symptoms would be bad enough to force me to give in. Little did she know how determined or pig headed I am. LOL. The estriol did the trick for a gradual come down from it and I keep it handy now for my periods. I can't say it's a regular use. It's a as needed and hopefully soon not at all use.

Thanks for the info Isabelle and for helping me figure this out. I'm determined to get this under control.

You're welcome, Mel,

and I trust you will find a way. You are not alone in this: did you notice just how many people read this thread since you posted your peri-menopausal program?

I do hope more cyclers update, and share what they learned so far. MoK217 started breaking PM on day 12 about the same time as Soonenough. And lled34aa does something similar. Ginie started the whole cycling thing after studying Chiyomilk's program: she must be the most experienced by now.

We'll be back to keeping lists soon Smile

Hello Mel and Isabelle,

I'll update in my program page with my Greenbush and Siriporn pm journey so as not to impinge in your page, it'sjustffun. I've never encounter anything as potent as Siriporn pm. Twice, on my cycles 2 and 3 on it, I took 3 pills on certain days, and on both times, I experienced adverse symptoms. On cycle 3, it shortened my cycle to 17 days, which is now, I'm on day 11 of cycle 4.

Thanks so much.
