Hi Sandy, did you ever get a chance to ask you doctor the questions that you had, and was this one of them? I'm interested in what he/she had to say. Thanks -- Sissy

Hi.I asked one person who is not a doctor, and I did not receive the answer I wanted to hear. She said it is manupulating with hormones and don't do it.I asked a friend in the US to ask her doctor because I believe that they have more information there than where I live.I'll make sure to tell you Sissy when i receive my answer.I am very confused about the whole thing, but I want larger boobs that is for sure. Are you still growing on BB Sissy? And what do you thinks about the other BO the girls are using?I don't know which to buy after HOPEFULLY I get the answer I want.Good luck growing.

Hi Sandy, I actually just started in November, and am just beginning to have measurable growth. I also use the DNE brand, I bought it a month ago, but just recently started taking one pill in addition to the BB. Not sure if that helped me or not.

I think with the great results others have had using generic, that it is just as good as BB, so when my BB supply runs out in a couple of months, I will probably just take the DNE brand alone for a while to see if it works.

If you have made the decision to try BO, then honestly, if it were me, knowing what I know now, I would buy a few bottles of the DNE brand and start there. I say a few due to shipping and the long wait you may have. Add the L-Tyrosine, Kelp, and protein (whey isolate protein) shakes and see if after three or four months you have any results.

By the way, I just checked DNE's website and they have both L-Tyrosine and Kelp, so you could order all at the same time and save on shipping. Their prices for both products are very good. I paid 5 times their price for L-T at my local health food store, so my next order will be from them for sure.

I know it's a tough decision to make, and all anyone can do is give you advise based on what they did or have learned. I waited three months to see some results, and normally I'm not one to stick with something that long without getting the benefit. I'm glad I did have the patience this time. Take care and good luck! --Sissy

HI Sissy.I have noticed that the DNE brand is cheap and affordable and a 4 months supply with its shipping will cost me only 54 $ that i can afford quiet well.hehe.I will use them for 4 months, and hope to get results,if not I won't have lost a big amount of money.I also found a gain weight shake with proteins but I have to find out if it is whey protein or not so I can order them all at once. Thanks for everything Sissy and as soon as i get my answer from the doctor I'll let you know.

There is no documentation your doctor can refer to in order to answer your question, so he will have to take an educated guess. The educated guess of most health professionals is that taking bovine ovary is unwise.

It is amusing to read these comments.
Why is it that none of you know what live cell therapy or glandular therapy is? Too many TV hours?
This information is available on the internet even.
I guess no one ever bothers to read any medical abstracts or alternative medical books.
Anybody here ever read the New England Journal of Medicine?

Every chiropractor in America uses glandular therapy.
Does anyone here go to a chiropractor or is that too dangerous and esoteric?
It is called Standard Process. They do $600 million in sales per year.
I think perhaps breast implants and drugs would be a safer choice.
Keep giving your money to the drug companies and their drug pushers.
Then if you get sick or die its ok, its sanctioned by the AMA.
Sheep always do what they are told. Bah bah

To Amused.

Is it really neccessary to inject sooo much venom into your comment here? Good for you, being so wise and knowledgable, oh New England Journal of Medicine reader, you. Every opinion comes from it's own bias, there is no truely objective answer out there ANYwhere.

I agree with what you said in your message, at heart, however I take offence in it's delivery.

We are bombarded with contradictory information every which way we turn, especially on the internet, and a young woman struggling with a decision that may or may not have an impact on her health in future is nothing to mock. How about instead of being a smart-ass you provide some links to back up your patronizing words?

To Amused,

Whoever you are.....

Your comment was very unnecessary and as it appears you have some very deep issues going on within **yourself** outside of all of this NBE stuff... for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh or shall I say the hand type.

At any rate.... you can leave your comments to yourself if you are going to come up here tearing people apart for asking questions. After all...that is why we are here???

Get a Life!!!!! Normally I would NEVER even give you the time or day but I just had to respond to your comment, knowing that many probably would not.

To All of the other ladies who are taking BO/BB or whatever...keep asking whatever question you so desire... Again, that's what this forum is for.

Regards,
NURSEDFIVE...

To amused,

I think what u said is really harsh, after all the forum here is to exchange information not to insult or mock anyone.and by the way if u are not interested in NBE why did u search the forum, just to make such a bad comment?Think of the feelings of the users of such a method before saying anything!!We all here try to encourage each other and stick together to fulfill our common goal.So there is no place for such discouraging ideas here. All girls keep growing and we will always support each other and help give new ideas and suggestion.think positive!we can do it!!!!!

Hi Amused!

I am sorry to say that I'm not a frequent reader of New England Journal of Medicine. In fact, all I ever read is The Onion.

http://www.theonion.com/content/index/4227/4

They will have an article about the effect of Bovine Ovary on centipedes in their next issue.

Other than that, I ordered some generic B.O, the other week, hoping to receive it soon. That makes me really stupid, doesn't it? A certain Jethro Tull album comes to mind.

Ladies, if you are going to take a BO product, you need to get thick skin and learn to ignore what these occasional posters say when they pop in. I had a hard time in the beginning, but got used to it and now just ignore it. At first it was so hurtful, but after I started seeing progress, it was easier to get over it. It's obvious that some think we are stupid, and pretty much say so without coming out and saying it.

Yesterday I reached the 2" inch mark, I'm sooo happy cause it's been a long 4.5 months - so nothing anyone says will bother me today!

As far as the comments from Amused....I think it was sort of in support of BO (which is rare), but it was the delivery that was rude and condensending. I am in agreement about the AMA and prescription pushers, but would never speak to someone like that, so it was unnecessary, as we are all trying to understand.

Good luck to you all and don't let this stuff bother you here, it's not worth it. -- Sissy

Actually I DO read the New England Journal of Medicine.

Glandular therapy hasn't been used much or tested since the turn of the 19th century, but many chiropractors and amusingly enough, veternarians use glandular therapy quite frequently in their practice.

They don't, however, use it at the dosages recommend for BE.

I haven't had any issues with fertility, but I admit that my husband had a vasectomy before I started BO. Since using BO, I have had fairly regular and normal periods, and would assume that I ovulated normally during this time.

The fact is there is currently no evidence either way.

I never took starting pictures, but I am going to take pictures now, then when I get to another milestone like 3" (hopefully), I will post them. For now, you will have to take my word on it, I had two empty saks, now I have some meat in my breast. I do feel obligated to post pictures, since all the pictures helped me and gave me hope. -- Sissy
