completly confused and getting annoyed!!!!
reading different ways of measuring bra size.

so the number on your brasize is this your underbust measurement, or is it your underbust measurement plus 4for even, (5 for odd)?

Is your cup size the difference between your underbust and overbust measuremeant, or the difference between your underbust plus 4 (5 for odd), and your overbust measurment!? as from what i have read and googled some say add 4 or 5 and some dont.

i have measured roughly 34 underbust, and 35.5 ish over my bust.


does this equal 34A (ish!)
or 38A? !!

Hi Bexy,
your bra size is a 38A, and you must calculate with the new number (38).

For example with my measurements, underbust: 28", bust 38".
28 + 4 = 32
38-28=10 is wrong, because it'd made me an I cup which I'm not !!!
38-32= 6

And don't forget to measure the underbust really tight.

Oh, I just googled it, and discovered that there are different versions of the calcul. What I told you works if you use that:
1 = A
2 = B
3 = C
4 = D
5 = DD
6 = E
