The worst is that I pop them (which is bad) but then I get dark spots that take months to go away. I use glycolic acid peels to try to get my skin to turnaround faster, but I still have the problem. The acne is a little better now. I really want beautiful glowing CLEAR skin but I don't know how to go about it.

I have the same issue with popping my zits. So after I pop them when I know I shouldn't, I make sure that my post zit area is healing and I put Vitamin E oil on it. Just in little area though. If it goes all over your face it'll have a negative effect (clogged pores).

The Vitamin E will help speed up the heeling process and lessen the chance of a brown spot/scar.

When I do get a brown spot, I take some lemon, and just squeeze some of the juice onto the brown spots. Sometimes there is a slight stingy sensation, but its because of acid. After about 10-20 minutes, I wash it off and put sunscreen on if I am going to be exposed to the sun. I usually do this at night so I don't need to worry about the sun turning my face into random white blotches.

Its not an immediate effect, but it goes from waiting for months to a few weeks - a month. You have to be REALLY dedicated to this.

Thank you! I will try this!

In the shower when I wake up I use Simple oil balancing exfoliating wash
Post shower olay beauty fluid moisturiser. it’s a good base for makeup.

Evening I do two washes to ensure all makeup has been removed both by simple.
1 is a moisturising foam wash
Next is a refreshing wash gel.
Pad dry my face and then more olay beauty fluid.

For my whole body I use exfoliating gloves all over in the shower and when I get out its whatever cream I have at the time. Right now its body shop cocoanut body butter but I have used Vaseline coca butter, plamers coca butter, plamers firming butter, dove pro age moisturiser, E45, you get the picture. Those have been the best so far, E45 is a bit light but absorbs fast so if your in a rush you can dress quickly but whatever is on offer in the supermarket I get.

It is important to find something you like and is good for you rather than tiring everything under the sun but I don’t find there to be much difference between the once listed bar E45.

This is what I’m doing at the moment but I have a long running concern that was brought up in the forum about mineral oil which I have found to be I all of the thinks I have stated. NOT GOOD. Due to this I like the oat suggestions girls. I may have to try it. Also I have started a breakout and I don’t know why.

I exfoliate with gloves about 5 times a week, facial exfoliator 2 a week, moisturise with body butter 3 times a day, and with aloe vera lotion after the gym or pool, i also take multi vit, and collagen, and once a month do a deep conditioning treatment for my hair with olive oil (and added guinness, or egg etc leave it overnight).

i also do a face mask about 2 a month, and get manicures 1 a month ish. my skins never looked better- nor my hair Smile and im only like 6 weeks in, if that. I have the glow that pregnant women get but none of the actually being pregnant thing.

Here are some tips for natural skin care...

Wash your face twice a day (no more) with warm water and a mild soap made for people with acne. Gently massage your face with circular motions. Don't scrub. Overwashing and scrubbing can cause skin to become irritated. After cleansing, the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) recommends applying an over-the-counter (no prescription needed) lotion containing benzoyl peroxide. This will decrease oil and bacteria.

Don't pop pimples. It's tempting, but here's why you shouldn't: Popping pimples can push infected material further into the skin, leading to more swelling and redness, and even scarring. If you notice a pimple coming before a big event, like the prom, a dermatologist can often treat it for you with less risk of scarring or infection.

I am hardly ever on here, because I am on skincaretalk.com, I learnt so much from the forum about skincare, but I still love this forum to see how people are doing with their NBE
