I have a dr appt on Wednesday and she is going to write me a prescription for bc. I remember when I was in college i was on it and my boobs grew like crazy, but I cant remember what kind. Im thinking it was either Yaz or Ortho Tri Cyclin. Does anybody have any ideas on which one works better?

You were probably on a bc which has anti-androgenes. I believe both of the ones you mentioned have anti-androgenes but Ortho Tri Cyclin has more of these.

I'd check with your doctor. Ortho is high on estrogens, it made me really moody and I lost a bunch of hair on my head. It came back once I stopped.

Petitemomma, did you keep any growth from the bc you took in college? You should check with your doctor he can recommend you another brand with lower estrogens. There are also generic brands which are less expensive. My doctor has told me that Diane35 has the most anti-androgens but has advised me to start with something weeker first.

I've been on both of those and somehow...birth control has always...made my boobs SMALLER...
But Yaz helped my acne a little.
but it's WAAAAYYYY more expensive.

I kept the growth up until I got pregnant when I was 22. They were huge after I had my son, then I lost weight too fast and i just lost all of it. My dr gave me the prescription for ortho tricyclin but now im hesitant to take it because I did read a lot about mood swings and depression. Ive never been prone to depression, but when I went on Chantix to quit smoking I found myself in a very anxious and depressed state.
