Hi All,
I just have a small question.
I've done quite a bit of reading regarding female puberty and hormone levels.
There's just one detail that I'm unsure of. The time period between the on set of puberty to the first menstruation cycle, basically the breast development time frame. Does progesterone stay at a steady low level, with only estrogen levels increasing? Or does progesterone also increase?
Currently this is how I understand it.
-Puberty Begins: Estrogen increases steadily within a 2 - 3 (depends on the individual) year span, Progesterone stays at a fairly steady low (Please correct this part if I'm wrong, thanks)
-Menstruation Begins Once Estrogen Level is High Enough: (28 days) Estrogen increases at around day 5 - 8. Progesterone increases at around the same time estrogen peaks then decreases at around day 13 - 16. Progesterone peaks then decreases at around day 19 - 22.
-Pregnancy: Estrogen and Progesterone both increase steadily to a much higher than usual level within a 9 month span.
I'm pretty clear on the hormonal patterns for during the menstrual cycle and during pregnancy, But there seems to be little mention of what happens during the breast development time frame. Or at least not in as much detail as the other two.
Seems like a minor detail but it's the difference between mimicking a simple breast development or a pregnancy.
Oh yes, I'm a male.
To be honest, I have quite a few conflicting thoughts in my mind in regards to growing breast. Well, I've always had a softer chest from having some extra fat for most of my younger years until the recent past few years when I became more physically active. Which really had cut down on my fat and my chest became pretty muscularly-flat.
But for some reason I had missed having a softer chest even though I was quite ashamed of them.
And now they are back because I purposely gained some weight. I also took some pills and creams about a month ago. (red clover, DIM, estrogen cream, progesterone cream) My chest was getting pretty, well, I would say fuller than usual. But I didn't feel that well after a while. I think I used too high of a dosage, especially the with creams.
I'm currently using pueraria mirifica, for its other benefits. Only a small dose for now (10 mg/day), but it still seems to have some effect on my skin and such. Or it could be looking with wishful eyes.
I don't know... one side of me (the feminine side) wants to finally embrace my breasts as a part of me. But the other side of me knows that it would make certain aspects of my life in society a bit more difficult. Like public washrooms, beaches, people in my life, future people in my life, etc... I guess the thing that worries me the most is finding an accepting wife. It seems the we've made so many advances in technology and such, but when it comes people to people relationships, acceptance, and understanding. There seems to be a lot that has yet to be improved.
Sorry for kind of going off the question. It is my first post, so might as well speak my mind a little bit, I guess.
Thanks
