first 6 days of NBE (warning: mentions sex...)

#1

**I may not be at a good point to post here, but stuff may get even more confusing so here we go:

Started June 11th: 1g fish oil capsule with lunch(within an hour I started having headaches and drymouth??);
that night massaged with 1g fish oil w/cocoa butter (100 rotations each).

June 12: massaged with 1g fish oil w/cocoa butter (200 r ea.). [that night I drank]

June 13: my boobs felt amazing (swollen, heavy, and tingly) and my libido was through the roof (usually low)
I ended up not massaging this whole day (lazy and tired of smelling like fish) and only taking VitC (mostly for my hangover),
although I did have a good amount of sex with "brest stimulation".

June 14th: Boobs back to normal (stupid stupid stupid skipping a day Lol); Massaged with just Cocoa Butter (300 r ea.);
Icy/Hot Shower; 1 Breast Exercise-I think its the breast fly... (10 reps)

June 15- Took my first BustBoom capsule Big Grin; Icy/Hot Shower;
Massaged w/CB (100 r ea.) in the morning; massaged w/CB (360 r ea.) then used a heat wrap before bed

Today- 1 BustBoom; massage w/CB (360 ea.); 35 mins of Yoga
about to do some breast exercises [only have 1lb weights...]

Now that that's out of the way:
About 2 months ago I improved my diet and started doing cardio (now switched to beginners yoga)
I have bought a bust roller (hoping to get a NB at some point), and I am looking into visualizing (haven't been able to do it at all!)
My boobs look much smaller than they are due to shape so that is my main concern right now but I also want them bigger :]
I have pics but cant get them from my phone to computer...
It seems to me, I responded pretty quickly to massage the first time, but I am not feeling too much in my boobs right now.
I want to massage with more than just cocoa butter, but idk what to use because I just started bust boom and I did well with fish oil.
I do have plenty of time and patience for this process, daily and long term.
Any suggestions would be great Big Grin

BTW: My stats are listed in my profile

Hi MrsKathryn,

The track record of fish oil is awful:

What's in your BustBoom capsules? Is it this one?
http://www.bustboom.com/
Before sfem switched to PM, he grew well on Cnicus Benedictus (blessed thistle). Does the label say how much is in it?

Thanks for responding I search for info on your posts All the time! :]
That is the same bottle; I got mine from ebay

What I have found on the ingredients is:
blessed thistle-lactation(prolactin) clear out the liver
black cohosh-Phytoestrogen and progestrone stimulater; increased breast milk production
damiana leaf-strong aromatic properties
dandelion herb-simply a 'super' herb, phyto-estrogen; no isoflavones http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/art...2295008659
fennel-phyto-progestin, increases prolactin
saw palmetto-anti-androgen
watercresses-acts as a stimulant, a source of phytochemicals and antioxidants, a diuretic, an expectorant, and a digestive aid.
It also appears to have antiangiogenic cancer-suppressing properties. supposed to transfer fat from waistline to the butt.
Wild Yam-Waist hip ratio; increases progesterone (controversial) and prolactin, anti-androgen, and slows the metabolism of estrone, one of the body's own estrogens, not a phyto-estrogen, but contains diosgenin, and a 16α-hydroxyestrone blocker, contains β-sitosterol an Anti-androgen
Dong Quai-balance estrogen levels that are too high or too low,
phytochemicals consist of coumarins, phytosterols, polysaccharides, ferulate, and flavonoids

Any correction or comment would be great Big Grin

It says proprietary blend so no chance in finding out how much of each :/

Thank you MrsKathryn,

Blessed thistle is also a phyto-estrogen.
I'm not sure black cohosh is a phyto-estrogen.
Damiana is a phyto-progestin.

Dong quai is for progesterone:

Most all-in-one-pill formulas are expensive and not effective at the recommended dose. This one does look reasonably balanced. But if you don't have results after four months, you could try doubling or tripling it.

The most cost effective approach would be to fill out dr. Lee's hormone balance test now, and every two weeks or so in your program:
http://www.johnleemd.com/store/resource_...etest.html

The series of test results gives you an idea what the BustBoom did for you, and what it misses. Then add one or two well chosen herbs to fill the gaps.

I looked up some more data. There's two herbs that shouldn't really be in NBE formulas at all:

Black cohosh is a hot flashes herb:
http://ods.od.nih.gov/factsheets/BlackCo...fessional/
and dong quai is for menstruation:
http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/drugi...l/936.html
I discussed the reason why it keeps popping up in NBE formulas here:
http://www.breastnexus.com/showthread.php?tid=11604&pid=47820#pid47820
I linked the relevant literature three posts below that one.

If you double or triple the dose, watch out for the dandelion:

Hi MrsKathryn! I hope your program gets off to a good start, and glad your libido is fixed Tongue

I'd just like to add as a side note on black cohosh, (I'm currently researching for a paper at school on menopause supplements and learning something about NBE at the same time Big Grin ), that it doesn't seem to have any estrogenic effects, as stated in your link there Isabelle, but studies have shown that it is somewhat effective for treatment of hot flashes and mood through stimulation of serotonin receptors, and so that's probably why it is used for menopause etc and has been thought to be estrogenic previously. Yeah, probably not so useful for NBE though.
see the part on black cohosh

and these are a couple of the studies that are cited

I did realize this once I found this site, but ultimately I decided to go ahead and try what I have.
Hopefully I will get some good out of it, but if nothing else,
hopefully I'll just be more clear of what individual herbs to go with.

I have taken Dr Lee's test already more than once just because
I'm not sure how severe or often some of the symptoms need to be to check the box...
I only have more than one symptom in Groups 2 and 3.
It's confusing because they are about equal and complete opposites (Estrogen deficiency and Excess estrogen).
For now, I will go ahead and keep notes about my symptoms. Possibly test for estrodiol later...

Right now I have two bottles of BustBoom, which is 4months at 1pill/day. My plan was, if I see no negative side effects,
to up to two pills/day around 2.5 to 3 months in...

The tingling is back since last night, but I still want to find something to add to my cocoa butter...
It seems my skin is already clearing up! Big Grin

I had headaches yesterday; I took a VitC and again they stopped. Headache meds have not been helping.
I also got off the computer for a while, so I could just be reading too much.

Hi MrsKathryn,

Many symptoms of estrogen excess and deficiency are the same. I always thought dr. Lee's test filtered those out and focused on the ones that really discriminate. But anyway, here's the full list:
http://www.breastnexus.com/showthread.php?tid=5135

You can squeeze a borage oil softgel on your chest before massage, and swallow the empty softgel for the gelatin and for what's left in it. It's a good source of omega 3 fatty acid: GLA. GLA is an anti-androgen too, so it should help clear your skin. Only, some women, although very few, do break out on it, so I hesitate to really recommend it. It's like $ 20 for a bottle.
