inches per cup size from personal experience

#1

Hi this is a question for everyone who has measured from start to finish and has seen growth. I'm wondering how many inches of growth you saw per cup size you have gained. Oddly I have gained 1.5" and haven't gone up a cup size at all. I know my measuring is good; I use a piece of string to measure my bust then measure the piece of string after so that I'm not influenced by seeing the numbers on the measuring tape. I started out at 34" across the bust and 29" underbust, now I'm still 35.5" in the underbust and yet I still don't fill a 34B/32C out

I saw 4 inches of growth and I went from a 32B to a 32D but I recently gained more an now I'm a 34C. I didn't measure before I got to a 32B but I was probably an A Cup before, I can't be to sure since I didn't measure back then.

I don't usually measure with tape, just what my bra fits into now. :/ So I can't say how many inches I've grown between cups. But I know it couldn't have been much at all. I like your string method, that's a good idea. I know a lot of girls mis-measure because they want so badly to be one number.

I can't believe you've grown so many inches without increasing in cup size yet. Even extra fullness in a cup shouldn't be that big a difference. Are you sure you measured properly the first time? Even the slightest extra bit of tug on the string can cause improper measurements.

I've never liked to measure my progress in bra sizes because when I started in July 2011 (one year!) I was between cups: somewhere between A and B, probably closer to the A than the B, because I could only fit in a 90B (Spanish size) if it was very padded.
Now I can fit in a 90C if it's very padded. So I think I've gained one cup aprox. My measurements weren't too accurate in the beginning because I didn't take this too seriously lol, but I've gained a minimum of 3cm and a max of 4cm: that is 1.2 - 1.6 inches.

I guess everybody's different and need more or less inches to increase one cup¿??

I don't like measuring by bra sizes either, because so many different sizes fit ya know. But congrats on your growth! I'm sure OP will be going up cup sizes soon enough!!

I realized i was wearing a cup size too big. My 32B bras no longer fit now and my 32C and 34B bras are still not quite full though.
