coffee

Information

A life without coffee is possible but senseless...this being said first off!
Actually there is a lot I would do for bigger boobs but I can´t skip on my daily 3 cups of coffee. I´ve been looking around in the www and I found out that coffee has these ingredients:
Beta-sitosterol
Campesterol
Scopoletin
Stigmasterol
In the big picture this means that coffee helps at a lack of progesterone and lack of estrogen as well. Big Grin doesn´t it? Huh
Can somebody tell me why coffee is supposed to be bad for NBE? I cannot find any explanation.
ciao,

I'm with you on this subject!Smile
I think it's yet another one of the urban myths of NBE. Everyone says it, so everyone repeats it, and then of course it must be true because "Everyone" says so!

Everyone says caffeine is bad for growth. Which I can understand, I guess, assuming that what they say about caffeine stunting your growth is even true. But as far as NBE diets, MOST of the diet rules don't really make that big a difference, if any. I have a friend who used to be maybe a B or C cup, drank coffee all day every day, then one day puberty hit her like a ton of bricks at age 16 and she sprouted some amazing DD's. And I've been drinking Mt. Dew maybe once a day since starting NBE, and even though it has MORE caffeine than coffee, it hasn't affected me in the slightest.

Also, coffee is another excuse to get some extra milk into my diet, so I'm not afraid of it. ;P

oh great now I am feeling bad anyways for another reason...whenever we were over in the US my sons drank huge amounts of mt.dew (not available here). I never even thought about caffein in Mt. Dew until today. Next time I´ll make sure they´ll get less.Dodgy

No, it's not a myth persay it's a study that went overboard.

There's a certain gene that can be found in women who when intake 3+ cups of coffee their breast actually shrink due to the caffeine's effects on their hormones. It's only if you have the gene, but I guess alot of people took it as don't drink coffee period even if you don't have the gene.

Although there have been studies that caffeine can negatively impact breast health but nothing is definite at the moment. I still cut ouf alot of my caffeine intake still though

^ Wow, that's so weird. Man I wish I was Asian! Growing breasts from coffee? Haha! I didn't see where it said the same was true for African-Americans, though.

It also goes to show how good Green Tea is for NBE! I think I'll have a cup now! ;P

Well, it sounds like my morning coffee is safe after all.

I wouldn't have too much of an issue ditching coffee, but chocolate is sort of my daily "drug," if you will, lol. And I believe there is some caffeine in chocolate, although I can't imagine it having nearly the same amount as coffee, lol. I hope I am also safe then! Tongue
