Properly worn, a corset should NEVER cause any of that. Unless it's an Edwardian, but those are just silly anyways, no one actually intentionally wears an Edwardian for long-term wear. They MIGHT don one for some re-enactment stuff for a short time. Maybe.
Honestly, wearing an Edwardian longer than a few hours at a time every great once in a while counts as improper use of a corset in my book.
AGREED.
A lot of women back in the 19th century wore corset way too tight in the name of fashion, or tightlaced for too many hours, which resulted in fainting often times as well as other problems you mentioned. However, we live in modern times, where we don't need to be cinched in so much every day, so we can take things in moderation. These problems are VERY rare, and honestly, a lot of corset "dangers" are actually old myths. The organs do become displaced, yes, but it's actually much less severe than the displacement that occurs during pregnancy! There truthfully is almost no real danger to corsetting, and I would not do something that would put me at so much risk just for fashion's sake.
Actually, I am doing everything normally with this corset on. I'm able to drink and eat normally (everyone says their appetite becomes diminished, not sure why this has never been the case for me), I can even smoke with no problems. The only thing different with a corset on is my bending is very limited; this however forces me to bend at the knees rather than the back, which is much better anyway. It also makes my acid reflux a little worse, but even the Squeem did that, too.
Overall, my back feels AMAZING (I have scoliosis), I love the way the corset looks both on top of and under clothes (it actually hides surprisingly well under clothes, as long as they aren't skin-tight), and I already feel even more confident about myself just knowing that I'll have a 24/23" waist by next year! No, corsets aren't for everybody, but for me, they are truely the greatest thing ever. I just wish I'd bought one years and years ago.
As far as my NBE, I'm upping my FG even more (I think I accidentally lowered my dose after my last cleanse and didn't even realize it LOL), so I'll be taking six of those a day, six of the SP, and four RC. I'm still keeping it at only one maca, however, although I might raise up to two if I think my acne will be fine. I went bra shopping again yesterday, and, believe it or not, I actually found TWO 32DD bras. I think they're the first ones I've ever been able to find. Tried them on, and...the one was shaped really weird, where there was extra space in it where I guess saggy breasts would fit, and the other one was a cute mesh one that was just all kinds of wrong. I barely fit it and it pulled my breasts apart even more than they are naturally. This is after being too big for two 34D's I tried on the day before. So I officially think I'm starting to grow out of the 32DD/34D range, but I still have a long way to go to get to a 32DDD, so hopefully my new doses of everything will help get me there. I should be excited that I'm still growing a little, but this bra is so stretched out already, it's hard to feel like I'm growing at all.
