Questions About the Average

#1

I'm 15 and i'm from white and asian descent. I'm a 36B-27-34 and I'm curious to see if i'm underdeveloped or even near average for my age.
I've read that before, 34B was the average, but now 36C is. There are many girls at school with cleavage, but i barely have a shadow. My mom is a 34B, but she's definitely bigger than me. I personally think she's a 34C. I have one 36C bra from maidenform that i fit in, but i cant fit in other 36C bras.
I started growing boobs as far back as 6 years old, but i grew to a AA probably around 5th grade. It wasn't until 7th that i found out about cup sizes and wore my first A. I got my period that year, too.
Am I underdeveloped?
When will my breasts stop growing?
What is the average for white 15 year old girls?

The average bra size has gone up because the average weight has gone up by a ton in the US. Asians also typically have a genetic tendency toward smaller boobs, but that obviously isn't true for every last asian woman. Long story short, 36B is a perfectly normal bra size for a 15 yo girl, asian or otherwise. I wouldn't worry too much if I were you. Maybe try to follow a healthy diet that encourages good hormone production, and wait a few years. It's pretty likely that you have one or two years of puberty left, depending on when you started.

And even after puberty officially "ends" most women continue to develop into their 20s. The average for women's breasts to stop developing is around 21. But this too, depends when you started. If you started earlier, you'll stop earlier. Started later, you'll stop later.

It also depends on environmental factors... So just make sure you give yourself a healthy environment to develop. Maybe do some exercises and massages. Maybe even noogle.

Don't you even consider any form of hormone supplementation unless your doctor tells you you should. Don't even ask for it at your age.

Oh. And if you can at all avoid becoming sexually active and going on birth control, it is my humblest belief that teen birth control could stunt development.

You're way too young to worry about this sort of thing. Also, try a 32D bra--you're tiny, so the band will fit much better on you and give you a better fit (I'm sure you have to adjust your 36 band bra all day long). I know a 32D SOUNDS big, but it's really the same size as a 36B. And don't worry about cleavage, because some girls have it, and some don't. I'm almost a 32E, and I STILL don't have cleavage because of my breast shape. :/

Also, don't listen to whatever they say the average bra size is. That's a load of crap because EVERYONE is wearing the wrong bra size. My mom thinks she's a 36C, but if that were the case, then her breasts would be slightly smaller than mine, and she's actually twice my size, at least.

I started growing small breast mounds pretty young, too, and then I started to slow down. Your growth sounds a lot like mine was, although I developed PCOS around 14 and my breasts actually started to shrink some. So unless something like that happens, you'll probably still continue to grow into your twenties!

Growing breasts at age 6?? That is ridiculous and pretty sick to even imagine. I know the girls these days grow earlier, but 6? I would imagine pedophiles would have been after you groping and such.
15 and a B cup is pretty nice. You might be a C if you are to go smaller in the band as Doll recommended. You still have plenty of time if you are 15 and if you are a B/C, you are doing just fine. Just ditch the junk food and you will grow again naturally probably before age 20.

Also, with Abidrew on this, any form of birth control WILL screw you up.

Tibetan, I wouldn't worry about it, her "breasts" at 6 yo were probably just baby fat, unless she actually started menstruating very soon after. I didn't want to bring it up when I saw it in the OP's post. There are lots of girls who believe that they started developing breasts at an almost impossibly young age.

I had a cousin who was convinced she was growing breasts when she was just 7. Her mother even managed to find her a tiny training "bra" more like a mini cami) to appease her. Even at five years old I could tell that it was just wishful thinking on my cousin's part. I think I made the mistake of telling her she was "just a little chubby". She yelled something along the lines of "I'm not chubby, I'm baby fat". LOL Tongue She's nearly 30 now. I wonder if she has any memory at all of that incident.

OP, do NOT worry. If you had started menstruating at 6,7, or 8 years old, I'd be extremely concerned. I think it's safe to assume that you didn't. I see no reason to think that you're anything other than perfectly normal. Just relax, because at best, stressing out won't accomplish anything, and at worst it could stunt your growth.

About being 6, i remember looking into the mirror and seeing that my butt and chest were slightly raised. I also was a bit of a chubby kid, but never a marshmallow.

I can't fit in a 32D because even if I wear 34C (for example), the band is way to small and my breasts dont fit. I have broad shoulders and a big rib cage. I tend to fall in the tiny B's category. This might sound silly but 36B is my "perfect" size. I fit well and the band is just right. My breast shape is normal, but the nipples point down. I'm kind of okay with it.

I'm not sexually active at this moment. I don't take birth control, and i certainly don't want to screw up my hormones. There is a possibility that i could be in the near future, but i plan to use condoms and watching my ovulation.

I'm 5"3 and I'm not overweight, but I do have some belly fat, thick thighs, and slight cellulite in my butt and upper thighs. Like I said, i was a chubby kid.

As for my questions, thank you everyone. I appreciate your answers and your advice.

Its actually quite common with babies when they are first born as well with the flood of excess hormones then it dissipates.
But at age 6, these days with the bad fats, its just most likely from the same thing, excess hormones. If you were extremely healthy, this would of have not happened though you would have most likely developed earlier then you have now.

many with "baby fat" appear to have a fatty collection in the chest (even little boys). Its just the cause of today's diet.

If you are still with cellulite or a little more on the thighs hips and butt (bottom heavy) then it is obvious you already estrogen dominant. It maybe helpful to take borage oil/ evening primrose oil to balance it all out but I would consult a Dr. or Ped. first of course. You may be able to balance it all out with just diet such as more greens to flush out the excess estrogen.
So you know, taking anything estrogenic will make you worse. Your breasts may shrink so I wouldn't even think about as you are too young and have an abundant amount of strong hormones with time ahead for another growth spurt.

I don't consider myself bottom heavy since my shoulders are wider than my hips by a few inches. And the cellulite tends to show when i "flex". Right now, i'm not thinking about changing my body image because i'm young, but I am planning on running and eating less snacks for the holiday season. However, the information about eating more greens interests me. I think that would kill two birds with one stone.
About whether or not I eat healthy, i think my problem back then was eating too much and too many snacks. My meals were healthy overall, cooked fresh by my mom.
My dad also makes sure we don't buy milk with hormones, since he believes it could affect me.

I just remembered that i've never had sore breasts. Or at least I don't recall it. I've had slight tenderness in my nipples around my period, but that is all I know. Should I have had it before? Why do they get sore?
