How to Lighten Your Eye Color Naturally

Hello everyone. My name is John and I joined this forum after searching honey and its use to lighten the iris. I started jan 20th and took before pics and some today. So it has almost been a month. My eyes seemed to be very dark in person; almost black. Within a month they have become more brighter and are starting to lighten up to a brown color. I have attached some pics. Thanks again for this thread. I enjoy seeing all the results!

I was freaked when I saw the kojic acid reference also, as it is highly irritating, and from my own experience of using a mild concentration for my freckles. I can't imagine putting it in my eyes diluted or not, for me, that is folly.

Although people do also add arbutin to their eye drops, I still think its all a proceed with caution exercise. I am more inclined to go down the licorice tea route if I want a dedicated lightener other than the usual suspects.

Why do you think that Kojic acid would be good to use in the eye? You do know it is strongly acidic and it makes the skin peel in the skin lightening process. Just because it inhibits melanin production and works well for the skin, does not mean it will work well for they eyes....proceede with caution.

Hey CC

Probably look up Kojic Acid if you want to know more about it. Kojic Acid isn't an "acid" in that sense of the word, as its pH is between 5-9 or pKa 9-10. Water is between pH 5-6 or pKa 14-16. Also there's been studies done using kojic acid in the eye albeit with rabbits but still the worst case was a red eyes for 10 minutes or so. And it doesn't peel skin off in the lightening process.

Thanks for the vote of concern though, that's sweet! Smile I've done research into it so its time to put theory into practice. Also bacteria can grow in a saline solution so make sure to replace it every week. This is one of reason I stick with water/honey, alot easier to manage.
Yes I do replace my solution every week, thanks for your concern as well....I have also throughly researched Kojic Acid for the process of skin lightening and have been using Kojic soaps for about two years now, I have seen very good results from using them. And in my personal experience...it does peel the skin Hun. Have you ever used Kojic acid personally or is all this info based off of your research alone? Either way....have fun conducting your experiment!

I totally agree with you. From my process of lightening my skin over the years, in which I have been very successful.... So i know firsthand about these ingredients and how they work(so i dont need to google) lol....I would definitely proceed with caution with both of the aforementioned....everything that works to lighten skin is not good for eyes...IJS
