Not been on the site in a while but decided to try again with NBE and seen this fantastic post!!! Wow!!!
I really want to give this a try... Has anyone tried manuka honey? Does the solution hurt your eyes when you put it in?
From what I gathered the solution is one part honey, two parts water and a few drops of lemon.. Is this the desired solution.
I'm sooo excited about this. I have blue eyes but my son has the most incredible baby blue eyes. I would love them!!!
I'm using Manuka honey. I do 1:1 honey to distilled water.
With my most recent batch, I also put a bit of chamomile tea.
Yes, it does burn but the burn means it's working
I wear contacts (vision correction) so I use the drops when not wearing them (morning and evenings.) If you don't wear contacts you can put drops in once an hour.
I've been doing this for about two weeks and I think I see a bit of lightening. I'm white and am starting with hazel eyes (medium brown near the pupil and emerald green around the outside.) Now, the brown seems more rusty color and the green seems deeper, more defined. But this might be wishful thing since I just started.
Patience is the key, it could take months or even a year or two to see desired lightening.
