Science or magic?

#1

I haven't been around long. Just long enough to read some of the more important threads, but I have come to think that there are arguments or rather debates here that point in both directions.

If you read the posts, you can certainly see where some people believe that NBE is a scientific reality and others are not sure, so maybe it's magic? What works for one doesn't work for another, why?

Maybe I'll ask the right questions in the right areas and come up with a conclusion that I can share with everyone. I have my own story, but I'd rather stay a fly on the wall for now. You won't mind that much, so I'll check in from time to time and maybe I'll let you know what direction the study is taking.

Thanks for a place to learn, or teach. I guess we'll see which one at a later date.

"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." - Arthur C. Clarke

It's science. It's just an extremely super complex science that no one fully understands.

The same things don't work for everyone because not everyone has the same existing conditions nor would the same conditions produced necessarily result in the same effects as another person.

If that made your eyes roll into the back of your head you're not prepared to undertake ANY kind of "study" of anything.

There's no such thing as magic. Only many forces in this world too advanced for us to presently understand.

All of what you are reading here are people repeating sales literature that are selling things that don't work.
They call those papers claiming breast growth (all lies) as science!
If something sounds to good to be true- then it isn't true.
there is a sucker born every minute.

When someone here, claims that they now have 44EE breasts due to taking some plant- they are lying!

and this is an example of something that is snake oil!
Abi Drew's plan: http://www.breastnexus.com/showthread.php?tid=12888&pid=73468#pid73468
-------------------

something that actual grows breasts on one person ( like estrogen) grows breasts on everyone!

Oh. I'd barely noticed you were back again OSB. Way to go revealing yourself by once again blindly attacking me for no reason.

You're full of shit, now go away.

I did not attack you.
And i am sorry if my statement offended you.

But clearly your plan hasn't worked for you - and it won't work for anyone else.

Why do you continue to push this ridiculous plan?

A plan that is not based on "science" but magic and wishing on a star!

Why do you continue to communicate with Abi? Why must you continue to insult her? You have gave your reasoning many times before and you aren't adding anything new, there is no more discussion about her plan needed. She is not advising anyone to use her plan and she's not benefiting from it. She has clearly studied and has scientific evidence to support the decisions in her plan.

On another note, this is not breast related but Abi you said you don't believe in magic, so what is your opinion on black magic and occult stuff?

Linking to and calling my thread "snake oil" is not an attack? Especially when if you at all pay attention to my comments and thoughts and replies there and everywhere I am anything BUT pushing it on anyone else. I actually pretty much discourage most people from considering even half of it. If you're not VERY careful some of what I'm doing can become VERY dangerous.

Who are you to say it hasn't? My body is developing female characteristics. Exactly the way I'm intending it to. If ALL I wanted was to grow the biggest breasts in the shortest time I wouldn't be trying to simultaneously lose weight.

What I'm trying to accomplish is much longer term and takes a lot of patience and careful balancing.

Read the thread. It's very scientific. I suppose the science must be too advanced for you though. And as mentioned a billion times by now... I'm NOT pushing it on anyone. It's MY plan, for MY needs, ONLY.

Because it's part of what makes him him. He can't go without starting some kind of drama for long.

It's simply dealing in forces we do not fully understand. Some people understand those forces better than others. A lot of it is actually tapping some of the larger potential of our minds and has nothing to do with (external) spirits at all. It DOES have to do with spirituality though - the practitioners own spirit, which is VERY closely tied in with the brain. But there's a lot that does have to do with spirits external to the practitioner themselves. I'm not saying spiritual stuff isn't real. But it's not "magic" at all. It's just an extremely complex science we don't fully understand.

It's also far far far more dangerous than most seem to think. The forces you're dealing with are far more powerful than most people think, including the power of their very own mind.

In fact... if you're very careful and truly know what you're doing you could harness those forces to do basically anything.

Which is why it's so dangerous. Because almost no one really truly knows what they're doing and people who start to get close tend to get too cocky with it and do something foolish.

Here here. When I was sixteen I came up with a theory about science's relationship to "magic". At this time I had limited experience (beyond the normal spectrum) with either subject at the time. I just knew the typical explanation of of both was missing something.

My conclusion is that they are two sides of the same coin for all the reasons you've mentioned above. Great quote btw =) I do feel there is a difference though between real scienc(e/tists) and mainstream "science". The fields general unwillingness to deem certain subjects socially acceptable to investigate is highly unscientific and will not lead to actually understanding any of the spiritual aspects of this world.

How funny, I was thinking about your mind can do anything comment, looked up from my phone and I see my bf's Biology of Transcendence: a Blueprint of the Human Spirit". Have you ever looked into the topic, you seem like the ideal candidate =)

Side note: after reading Tibetan's experiences I'm interested in her opinion on this as well Blush

Not really. I just feel generally more comfortable in the harder sciences. I understand enough of spiritual science to know it's just not something I want to be playing in.

I DO recognize its existence though. And I think you'd be surprised how many are like me. Understand just enough to feel it wiser to just keep your hands off.

Then again, there are plenty of complete atheists in scientific communities as well who persist there are no higher powers. They're the same ones who didn't "get" quantum physics when that was finally discovered.

You'll find that almost every quantum physicist you'll ever meet will recognize the spiritual sciences even if they won't delve in them.

I have to say that it's interesting how people define things here.

I understand science to be exploration into the unknown with questions leading to understanding and repeatable results.

Magic is something that is undeniable, and fully incomprehensible. You cannot grasp magic. It is beyond us and always will be beyond us as corporeal beings.

See things as you will, but trying to do something seemingly impossible and achieving it in spite of the facts can be studied and understood. Everyone here is looking to find the secret to NBE, and I'm not the exception. Maybe we'll never be able to understand. Is that magic?
