Piercing scar swelling

#1

I had one of my nipples pierced a little over two years ago, and during the healing (I was pierced with one of those horseshoe things) the entry and exit wounds swelled up. After I had healed a bit, I switched to a barbell that is just a liiittle too short and I guess the pressure of the balls on the swelling made it go down. That's the jewelry I have in right now.

Now, my problem is that when I noogle, one of the openings swells up again. That side of the piercing is a little weird; I think the piercer might have gone through the areola a little bit instead of piercing the nipple tissue. Usually it goes down after several hours, but lately I'm starting to think the swelling is staying longer.

I'm worried that noogling might make this swelling worse. Does anyone have any experience with this? I'm thinking I might try to tape it down and see, but it's a very small area.

I've had scars get larger and more prominent from using breast suction devices.... Especially newer scars.... like it hasn't totally healed.... old scars don't seem to be effected... Just how different tissue reacts to negative pressure.... your reinjurying it every time you Noogle....

...Oh. That's not good. Does that mean I shouldn't noogle? I've been noogling for shorter periods lately, and it doesn't seem to be swelling up as much. Since it's been two years already, does that mean it's just never going to heal? Would it be fixed (eventually) if I took the jewelry out? Huh

Thank you for replying!

I've found that if I pump in short bursts instead of marathoning and/or use lower pressure, I don't have a problem.
