I thought I would post on this thread because raw food is something I have been experimenting with for just over a year now but it wasn't for eye colour reasons. as a result of finding this way of eating I have become vegetarian (no eggs or dairy I do eat honey though so not vegan, I am moving in that direction though). When I found the raw food lifestyle I dived right in and when 100% raw for 4 months and it was amazing. After a year of a plant based diet I feel my entire complexion looks brighter and I have a better skin texture. I also am a lot more in tune with my body I notice when I eat rubbish and can see the difference. I would like to say that means I eat perfectly but no I still eat rubbish sometimes, I give in around friends and family and it means I can socialise.
currently I eat a raw, mostly fruit based diet during the day. In the winter/ cold months I have a cooked low fat, low salt diet in the evening and in the summer/warmer months salad/veg based raw meal. This plan mostly works Mon-Fri but at weekends I tend to relax my rules and eat bread or something high fat/salt or like sweet potato fries or something (but today has been very raw and fruity-lots of Melon!). I am looking to remove the less healthy things I eat however I found my 100% strict raw food period a little isolating which I why, despite feeling good, I went back to eating things like sandwiches, oil, stir fry, roasted veg, veg burgers, grilled things etc. it means other people can have me over for dinner and cook for me and I can go out to eat
Eye colour, I think, like my skin is more clear, it got a bit lighter and a bit brighter. I have more colours in my eyes than ever before, they were very dark brown they now have green and yellow shades in the centre fading into a brown in the edges. so yes raw food has done something for my eyes. (and boobs for that matter)
I tried the honey thing and it was working but then It got to a point where it didn't any more, maybe I ate more bad stuff than good stuff for a while and the honey wasn't enough.
RAW FOOD IS GOOD! even just have 2 raw days a week or raw during daylight hours. you will feel so good and have a general improvement in your appearance, body, mind and eye colour. [/align]
