Even though there's merit in higher temps = good for growth, I think its a cop-out for BB as when a person doesn't grow, they've got something to point out as to why.

"Well, how where your temps? Where they up high enough? Low thyroid could prevent your potential gains."

Well, I'm proof anyway...Big Grin

Thanks for that T, I was just going to PM you about this! It makes sense that they would use it as a cop-out, because it really doesn't make ANY sense for a woman to have >98.1 degrees during her follicular cycle, which is why I was skeptical of any recommendations to take something to raise temps to begin with. But I guess after the few websites I read about the temps needing to be at least 97.6, then that was when I started to get concerned.

As for whey, you and I both know that I get ENOUGH of that. Yet, my BBTs have always been pretty low. Could it really be a deficiency in iodine? How did your Progesterone help (did it raise your BBT or improve the effectiveness of BO without effecting your BBT)?

I LEARNED SINCE MY ADRENALS HAVE NO TO VERY LOW CORT OUTPUT, I DONT MAKE ENOUGH PROGESTERONE AND SO I WAS ADVISED SUPPLEMENTAL FROM MY DOCTOR. SO ADDING SUPPLEMENTAL AS WELL AS WHAT BO OFFERS, I WAS ABLE TO GROW. SO YOU MAY NOT NEED EXTRA SUPPLEMENTAL P SUPPLEMENTS UNLESS YOU ARE AS BAD OFF LIKE WHEN I STARTED. BO MAY STIMULATE YOUR OWN PRODUCTION AND MAY BE ENOUGH. THAT'S WHY I ADVISE AT LEAST 3 MONTHS IN, TO EVALUATE HOW BO HAS AFFECTED YOUR OUTPUT. TESTS CAN BE VERY HELPFUL AS IT CAN TELL YOU WHAT AND HOW MUCH YOU NEED. SO MAYBE YOU CAN RETEST ALL OF YOUR HORMONES AT THE 3 OR 4TH MONTH MARK. THAT WAY YOU WILL KNOW WHAT TO ADD.

MY TEMPS DID NOT CHANGE TILL ONLY 3 MONTHS AGO (WHICH WAS HOTTEST SUMMER MONTH HERE AND MY LAST RECENT GROWTH SPURT), THAT WAS MONTHS AFTER I GAINED TO MY BMI AND DID A LITTLE HEALING. IT TOOK A LONG TIME. IT DOES NOT HAPPEN OVER NIGHT. I ACTUALLY WAS NOT EXPECTING IT. I STILL HAVE COLD HANDS AND FEET BUT ITS NOT AS BAD AS BEFORE.

I DEF SEE YOU GET ENOUGH PROTEIN AND SINCE YOU ARE NOT UNDERWEIGHT, ITS CLEAR ITS SOMETHING ELSE GIVING YOU LOWER THAN AVERAGE BASAL TEMPS IN FOLL. SO, IF YOU ARE TIRED THESE DAYS, LOOK AT YOUR ADRENAL AND THRYOID OUTPUT. TEST YOUR CORTISOL LEVELS IF YOU HAVEN'T RECENTLY. TEST YOUR REVERSE T4/T3, FREE T4/T3, TSH AND HASHIMOTOS ANTIBODIES JUST INCASE.

I KNOW FENUGREEK MADE ME TIRED AND FUCKED UP MY SUGAR BALANCE. I WAS ALREADY HYPOGLYCEMIC AND IT MADE IT WORSE. MAYBE YOU HAVE LOW CORTISOL DURING SOME PART OF THE DAY (WHEN YOU ARE MOST TIRED) AND IF THAT'S SO, IT AFFECTS INSULIN SENSITIVITY, ANDROGEN/PROGESTERONE BALANCE (WHICH WOULD AFFECT THYROID HORMONES,TEMPS.)

ARE YOU RESUMING FENU? LOW TEMPS CAN BE A SIGN OF LIVER NOT FUNCTIONING AS IT SHOULD. WHICH T HORMONES GET CONVERTED FROM 4 TO 3 IN ITS ACTIVE FORM.

If lower BBT during the follicular phase don't really do anything (let's face it: it is not the low BBTs that really effect the effectiveness of BO. The low BBTs signify a possibly poor functioning thyroid which, in turn, effects the effectiveness of BO) and it is just a poor thyroid that is what directly effects the effectiveness of BO, then I suppose I should not be worried about it unless I do, in fact, have a problem with my thyroid (which I am guessing I don't, because I don't have an issue with weight gain).

Am I correct when I say that it is not high BBTs that result in good growth; rather, it is a healthy thyroid that results in good growth, correct? And BBTs are simply just indicative of a thyroid's functioning. [bOr[/b] do the BBTs actually effect the effectiveness of BO directly in some way?

YES, I BELIEVE GROWTH IS BETTER(FASTER) IN A WARMER BODY. A WARMER BODY HAS HEALTHY PROGESTERONE AND THYROID LEVELS (GOOD LIVER FUNCTION TOO).

SO THYROID HORMONES AFFECT EVERY SINGLE CELL IN THE BODY. SO MUCH THAT IF YOUR THYROID IS OFF, YOUR FACE LOOKS DIFFERENT AND BODY. SO THINK ATOMIC CHANGES.

BO CAN WORK FOR YOU AS IT HAS FOR ME, BUT MAKE SURE YOU ARE HEALING YOUR WHOLE ENDOCRINE SYSTEM AT THE SAME TIME IF YOU SUSPECT THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH YOUR ADRENALS, PITUITARY OR THYROID.

Hey Princess T! Sorry I am soooo late to respond. As you know, I have been having a lot of life changes going on, but now I am back in the game Cool

I have been researching and considering what I've been told and I have come to the conclusion that I most likely do not have a thyroid problem. Looking closely at my diet, I get sufficient amounts of magnesium, selenium, and iodine, so I do not have a deficiency in any of those.

My body must be converting T3 and T4 adequately, or I would be witnessing symptoms of hyperthyroidism, and I'm not, thankfully. Therefore, although my temps are low, are obviously not affecting my liver as much as people say it should.--phew!-- But, I will definitely look for any atomic changes of which you speak. Sometimes I think my nose is getting fatter Angry , but then again, it can all be in my head as I have had a love-hate relationship with my nose my entire life.

I think, all that I REALLY needed to know was what you wrote above: that you were able to grow with low temps. THAT is important. Thank you for that. I was hoping that was the case, since (despite my low temps) it seems pretty clear that I have no reason to have a low functioning thyroid, nor do I have most of the symptoms of one (only sleepiness, haha! which can easily be explained by messing with my hormones). My only concern left was that the temps would not be high enough to grow from, but my reasoning was that somehow my body must be synthesizing the T3 and T4 hormones, because I have not become hyperthyroid, either. And your case just confirmed that. Thank you.

But, referring to the other things you mentioned, how does one look at their adrenal and thyroid output? My DHEA tested as 583ng/dL (range: 102-1185), my TSH w/ reflex to T4 is 1.23 mIU/L and that's all I've got from your list mentioned above. Both seem pretty healthy (my doctor didn't have anything to say about it, and you KNOW she would have been on that trying to give me something for it right away if there were a problem with it!) and given that everything else I have ever had tested other than my testosterone and Vitamin D is of a very balanced healthy level, I could only imagine that everything else is, too... because there is much truth behind once one thing is out of balance, so are many others with it. I will be sure to get those which you have mentioned tested when I get a new doctor and get my hormones tested again sometime in the summer. I think I will get my hormones tested once every year. I think I can afford that and that should be helpful enough, hopefully.

Thank you. I will always remember to keep these concerns in mind!

Hey Chelsea! Yeah it has been a while... I know you were MIA for a while, and then I went MIA for the past two months Tongue Life happens!

So sweet of you to think of me! Things are going pretty well for me (I will follow this post with up-dates, also some up-dates in my "curves" thread on post #135 as well). I hope things are well for you, too!

Both you and Jenniferlove requested that I post progress pics and, I never thought it was a good idea before (because I always figured I'd wait till I FELT a difference before bothering to take any photos, duh!), but since I have dissed using the tape as a guide for growth, she reminded me that sometimes growth can be seen when it is not felt. I completely agree with this notion, and so, will probably take some photos soon. I just don't know if I should go 1) bathingsuit top with no padding 2) bra with no padding 3) completely topless. I would do the latter but, I know that a male friend of mine is aware of this forum and I think I'd be pretty easy to find for me, and the name of this forum alone is like teasing a monkey with a banana. And I'm not thrilled by the idea of him seeing me completely topless to be honest. So, I'm guessing one of both the unpadded bikini top and an unpadded bra.

So much to up-date on...!
....Glad to be back in the game Cool

As the title of this post says, there has been a lot going on with me. Last I mentioned, I was on those antiandrogens and was sooo sleepy. Then work got nutso and I started missing my doses because of it. Sometimes I'd miss the entire day. That threw me into short-lasting energy spurts and then crashing energy lows again. A total mess. And these sleeping problems only contributed to my missing doses more.

Unlike my first program (Chiyomilk-style), during this program I would have achy tender and heavy breasts during ALL of my luteal phases. This is the most sensation I have felt since the very first luteal phase I went on pig placenta before I began taking PM. So? That is huge news for me! So I know, although it may be in very small increments, it IS doing SOMETHING.
----------HOWEVER-----------
For the last cycle and a half (approximately), as I have been missing my doses during these times, my breast tenderness was a lot more subtle during my last luteal phase. My bad. At least I know why. And at least I know I can make it right again.

So there is more than one reason to make sure my doses are taken regularly:
1) Eventual normalization of my sleeping patterns
2) Better chances at future growth by keeping the hormones regular
.........so this is my new goal which I started yesterday. I am looking forward to feeling sore during my luteal phase again!

So, I quit my job (I have long awaited this day) and have been accepted into grad school to Australia's #1 Ivy League school! I was accepted into the program which I have been wanting to get into since 2004... so yeah, you could say that this is my dream career. I couldn't be happier with my life right now. I felt *stuck* for so long, knowing I had so much more potential, but did not know which way to go. So, I think this is a huge reason for me being motivated again!

So..... Now that I will be moving to live in Australia for the next two years, I am looking at my program and, with my EXTREMELY tight budget at the moment (remember I quit my job about a month ago, and I am dishing out what money I have left to cover paperwork processing fees for going to grad school abroad), am trying to figure out what to do! I was considering tossing my BO and antiandrogens altogether simply because I do not have the money, but couldn't toss in the towel altogether for the next two years so was planning on going noogleberry-solo (because it would be $0 for me to do that program!). BUTTTTT when my ex volunteered today that I was definitely bigger than I was a few months ago (!!!), I am reevaluating my options. This is pretty significant, because there have been only 3 times that my ex said he noticed growth (and he is VERY observant, more so than I): 1) when I changed my diet over a year ago and my boobs did grow some as a result 2) when I snoogled almost every day for maybe a month before I started my Chiyomilk program and was getting a good deal of swelling, and 2) NOW! This is the first time as a result of herbs alone that he noticed a significant change.
...Not to mention that I tried on a 32C bra that I bought back in August before I started my program and I was spilling out over the top a bit (whereas in August when I tried it on for fun, I fit it but I did not fill it--there were no gaps, but it wasn't skin tight with a little boob spilling out on top). I honestly don't see or feel a difference myself and my regular-wear bras show no change, but is it possible that as I slooooooowly grow, my bras are keeping up with me and slowly stretching out? It's possible, I DO wear the same two bras all the time Dodgy Regardless, I have made up my mind to not give up on the BO yet and figure out a way to make it happen even on a tight budget.
------------I am thinking about coercing my ex to buy them for me and I will pay him later when I get out of school. No, seriously. No one else would support me in this other than him...

But as a result of this reevaluation process in which I considered different ways in which I can reintroduce the NB to my program, AND in result to being preeeeeeeeeetty certain that the BO and antiandrogens are doing something for me, I think I will be including the NB regularly to my program in the first week of March (I did not want to pick up the NB again until I knew I was being helped by the herbs and BO I was taking. I did not want the initial, unavoidable swelling from the NB to mask any possible progress from the herbs, so that I could truly know if this herbal program was good or another one to bite the dust). Additionally, this is the first week of classes at grad school in Australia. I am hoping to develop a routine while in Australia where I will make using the NB a habit while I study. A new routine for a new location. I am going to start as soon as my classes do, that way I ingrain it into my schedule.

So, in conclusion: Going to stick with the BO program. It has been the only program to make me sore with re-occurance, and my ex even said he definitely noticed a change. Going to introduce the noogleberry to this BO program soon in another cycle-and-a-half (first week of March, so that I may see for this time if I do resume the soreness to confirm the BO and antiandrogens' effectiveness).

That was back when I was working 2 jobs and going to school full-time. I quite possibly was just stressed out. But I was tired as often as I was awake and would sleep for 10-12 hours too. This went on for over a year and finally I went vegetarian and did an overhaul on my life/diet. Things really changed for the better.

I remember I was tested for everything under the sun, but my physician concluded I was a poster child for health. He told me I might have what they call "chronic sleep disorder". Western doctors are just not well-equipped for these types of things I now realize.

Good luck to you! Please remember that you can grow your breasts without the herbs. Don't harm your health. It's not worth it.

As much as I 100% believe in the truth of tissue expansion, I believe that there needs to be some kind of synergy for breast growth to occur in the traditional manner. Of course, breast growth achieved by tissue expansion alone is not the traditional manner. The non-traditional manner (tissue expansion) I think would work better for those who were deprived of breast growth despite having perfectly balanced hormones (which makes their situation abnormal, hence the need for a non-traditional manner). Herbs will obviously not work for those people. For those who have hormonal imbalances, however, it would take much, much longer to grow just from noogling alone. Why? Because the need for different hormones are there and aren't being met, same as they weren't before when their breasts would have originally developed had they had the right balance of hormones to be able to do so. I have high testosterone, so the best route for me would be a synergy of hormones and increased circulation and tissue expansion can always help. But I do not think tissue expansion is in my best interest to be my one-and-only method. I do think it is amazing though and, now coming to believe that the herbs I am taking are working for me [insert "yey!" here], it is now smart for me to speed up/aid the process with some tissue expansion/increase in circulation!! I will be starting at the beginning of March Big Grin

I agree with you, that tissue expansion is not that good if its the only method, I get problems growing under boob and side boob, but that is the only method that really worked for me till now. That is why I am doing it, it is also very time consuming and has many side effects, skin/nipple stretching, scars etc, but the only thing that really worked. Still I haven't tried PM yet and that is actually the most powerful of all the pills, I hope PM will work for me, so that I don't get growth only through stretching.

Well, still yes and no.... it depends on the person, really, and the reason why the person did not have breast growth to begin with. It may be possible that you may have balanced hormones and this is why no hormonal methods have worked for you (as you said it is the only method that has worked for you until now). However, since it still isn't really working that well for you, my bet would be that your hormones are not in balance, and you have not found the right "formula" yet, if you know what I mean.

Remember (and I am sure you know this): "most powerful" does not = "better"! It is all about meeting your body's needs.

Sorry, rateset, I forget: Did you ever get your hormones tested?

Up-Date! --4 Months on BO

So it has been 4 months and 10 days since I started this BO program, and even less than that since I have been taking BO with the antiandrogens, and now after spending over a month being very inconsistent with my herbs, I have been consistent (religiously--*see below) for exactly 2 weeks now and WHOA my boobs are more sore this luteal phase than in any of the follicular phases I have ever had! And they FEEL big. Adding that to the comment my ex made a couple weeks ago about me being bigger up-top, and based on a new bra size fitting, I cannot deny to a size increase!

I went to Victoria's Secret the other day to make some returns and took a different cup size for the same bra band of the same bra style, just to see the fit of the different cups on me. The first photo is a 32B, of which you can see I am spilling out. The second is a 32C which you can see I fit perfectly but any more boobage will result in spilling. The third is a 32D which as you can see there is obviously some room for growth! I also took a photo in a 32DD just to imagine the size on my body, but I did not like it. So my goal size remains a 32D. (the bra in these photos are lightly-lined, no "extra support" or anything like that)

So, when I first began this program, I fit my 32B Victoria's Secret bra the same way in which I now fit the 32C Victoria's Secret bras. Granted, I know that VS bras run small so I am not claiming to be "a 32C"-- but I am a VS 32C! I just love the brand honestly and it doesn't matter if they run small to me: as long as I stay consistent with a brand, then I can use bras as a way to measure progress, and that is all that matters to me. And that is the purpose of this post. I have increased a small cup! I noticed though that there is a bigger jump from a 32C to a 32D, so it may take longer before I reach that point. But the point here is: this program is certainly doing something for me, and I am going to stick with it Smile

*What I mean by being religiously consistent with my doses is that I have an alarm on my phone set to go off every 8 hours (7:30am, 3:30pm, and 11:30pm) and I will take my pills typically within an hour after that. Only a couple of times have I been so busy or not had my pills on me that I delayed my dose by about 5 hours or less, and even then I will make sure that the next dose is taken not 8 hours after but more like 5-6 hours after the late dose. I do not go any longer than 13 hours between doses and no shorter than 5 hours between doses. And this is just on rare occasion when I am not able to stick to the 8-hour dose routine. 6/7 days I am able to stick to it.
I like the 8-8-8 dose routine because it provides a more consistent, regular "flow" of hormones so that my hormones are more consistent. This is important for increasing anyone's chance of growth (consistency).
