Hi Eva,
Goat's rue contains no phyto-estrogens. It increases prolactin. Prolactin starts the production of breast milk, which causes swelling, but if you don't breast feed, the milk will just be reabsorbed.
Shatavari does contain phyto-estrogens. It's not better or worse than goat's rue: it just does something different.

You're welcome Eva,
Goat's rue is antidiabetic, yes. Fenugreek too.
Good luck with your program

Would really like to try goat'e Rue with PM when it comes,, but really having a difficult time finding it in Canada. Even have searched under French Lilac, and Italian Fitch and no luck,,, should I be doing a search with its other names?? It sounds like a good one to use with PM,, and Moon on the old forum seemed to use it with no problems. Anyone have other sources other than Motherlove brand,,just too pricey for the length of time none would be on it. any input?? Thanks, Snowflake

Herbalcom.com sells goats rue. The company is based in Iowa. They'll probably ship to Canada.
Its in powder form, so you'll have to buy teabags and make you tea.
