Perk-o-matic Help..Sissy,Rinoa,Summerlily, Others???

Ok, I ordered my sag-b-gone massager, and it arrived. Problem is, the directions are quite obscure, something must have gotten lost in translation???
So, I tried to follow the directions, and couldn't figure it out, and accidentally made it go real high...omygoodness...I swear I jumped a foot it scared me soo much! LOL it felt like someone with iron hands was kneading my breasts! Lol
Anyway, what do all the setting mean? It looks like their is a pounding hand, a hand to the laft, and a hand pointing up. Also, the circle around the number can be set to different things. What do all these functions do???
And how often do you use it?
I would be grateful for any suggestions!

I actually never read the instructions, and now can't find them...so maybe there are features I never discovered. The button on the right that turns it on, if you keep pushing it, it will turn it up a notch. It should not start in high mode, mine never does. I started off at 4 or 5 bars, and now keep it at 6. I only use the pulsing mode, that gives intermittent pulsing, not the vibrating mode. It's the one with the fist I think. Sorry, I can't find the new batteries I just bought, so I can't run through it to make sure. I don't know what the SP button is, that controls the things around the numbers. Let me know if you figure it out.
I started off using it 2x daily for almost a month, now I use it every other day. Once I get more growth, I'm going to go back to every day for a month. The reason why I did this is just my theory that I don't want to discourage fat by building too much muscle, but I want muscle to lift the fat. Just my dumb theory.
A couple of times the thing went buzzerk on me and started going in the high mode. It really freaked me out the first time, just be ready to pull the plug out of the unit. I didn't think that quick the first time, and it was kinda funny/scary. Hope you like it as much as I do! -- Sissy

Hehe...okay. I'm pretty sure you're explaining the massager I have. It's a little pink and silver one...4 buttons...pink and black electrode pads...?
I have to admit...even though on the eBay listing it said there were different settings, I couldn't for the life of me work it out...there were no instructions regarding changing settings...I actually discovered it by accidently bumping the buttons!
Right. To the important stuff ;p
THE BUTTONS:
OFF/down arrow - turn the massager off / lower strength/speed settings
MODE - Switch between different massage modes
S/P - Switch between controlling strength and speed
ON/up arrow - turn the massager on / increase strength/speed settings
When you first press the on button, the LED display lights up. It will display the default settings.
* The flashing 'heart' you saw is actually a pounding hand; the hand symbols are supposed to represent what MODE you are currently using.
* The '15' in the midde of the broken circles is the minutes left until the massager will turn itself off (once it is in use that is. the massager has like...a 30 sec time-out before the display turns off if you haven't pressed any buttons or started using it yet)(more on the broken circles later)
* The two little lines at the bottom left and right of the screen display the lowest speed (left) and strength (right) settings. If you were to increase these settings, the number of bars displayed will increase also.
Before using the massager, make sure you have a reasonably tight fitting bra (but still comfortable) on to put the massager inside. If the electrode pads aren't against your skin completely, you're more likely to get a shock ;p
* Make sure that you have well lubed the pads up and have adjusted the size to suit you. (to be honest...I just have it on the largest setting...and I don't see myself changing it ever...the largest one is the flattest)
* Make sure you have all the pads in place and ready to go before you turn the massager on!
(i'm gona explain how to use the basic settings...and i'll tell you how to mess with them afterwards)
If at ANY time you feel uncomfortable...STOP!
To start using the massager (from completely off) press the ON button. The pounding fist will appear. This means you are on the 'throbbing-type' setting.
If you press ON again, you will start to feel the little shocks.
* To increase the STRENGTH (to say 2 or 3 bars until you get used to it) press the ON button again, as it also doubles as the 'increase' button.
* To decrease the STRENGTH, use the OFF button. If you are already at the lowest setting, pressing the OFF button will turn the massager off.
* To increase the SPEED, press the S/P button (I have to ress mine quite hard sometimes) then press the ON button. You will notice the number of bars on the left hand side increase.
* To decrease the SPEED, press the OFF button.
When you're changing settings, the massager will remember what setting you last changed, and 'stay there' until you press the S/P button again.
e.g. - you increased the strength (right side bars) then pressed S/P to 'move' to the left side, where you increased the speed. Next time you press the ON button to increase anything, it will still increase the speed. You will need to press S/P again to 'move' back to changing the strength settings.
The default is strength, so if you never press S/P, you will only ever change the strength settings.
Now the MODES.
* The pounding hand - a throbbing kind of setting
* The left pointing hand - imagine placing your hand over your breast, then pusing down, cupping, and shaking in the same motion! (whoa!)
* The up pointing shaking hand - very similar to the left pointing hand...to be honest with you...I know it is differet...but I can't explain it! You'll just have to try it!
You can change the mode at any time during the 15 min session, or before you start by pressing MODE (the top button)
If you press MODE to cycle through the pounding hand, then the left hand, then the upward hand, then back to the pounding hand, you'll notice part of the broken rings around the 15 begin to flash, but the time display (the 15) has gone. This brings me to the next part...
CYCLE MODES
You can choose to use ALL of the modes in one session using a cycle. The broken segments of the circle around the time display represent what segment of the cycle you are currently in. If the first segment (about 1 o'clock to 3 o'clock) is flashing, you will begin the cycle with the 'pounding' setting.
Each mode gets a few minutes before it moves onto the next one.
I can't explain cycle modes very well...you'll just have to play around!
One thing to remember about cycles though is that a strength setting that is comfortable for you in one MODE, might not be comfortable in the next.
(I find that I can almost use the top strength setting in the 'pounding mode', but with the left facing hand...I can only handle 5 or so bars.)
The strength setting will stay the same as the massager cycles through modes...so just keep that in mind.
Other things to remember;
* If the pads are not lubed enough...it is definately going to be uncomfortable...I ran out of the lube it came with, and bought some 'conductive gel' off eBay...works the same ;p
* Wash the pads after every use.
* You can use it every day...I use 2 15 min sessions a day wherever I can. (the instruction (BAH!) manual it came with said 2 mins a day...yet it has a 15 min session...*shrugs* Just do what you feel comfortable with.
And most importantly (which is why it gets capitals ;D )
IF YOU FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE OR FEEL PAIN AT ANY TIME....TURN IT OFF!
GOT IT!???!?!?!
Hehe...well I think that about sums it up for me...if I think of anything else...i'll come back!
Good luck!

kyutwon,
The pads themselves don't actually vibrate, rather they transmit electric pulses through your breast tissue.
Do you not feel anything when you have the pads between your bra and your skin?
Don't turn it on until you have it ready to go...putting the pads in your bra AFTER you've turned it on will give you shocks...

No, I don't feel anything when I put the pads on. The device is on, I see the different modes and it is counting down, but I dont feel anything at all. And now, even when I touch it with my fingers, I dont get shocked. Guess I got a bum unit.

Me too, I just got mine on yesterday.
I also haven't felt a shock or any sensation so I am not sure if this thing is working or not. I will keep using it and if I see these babies start to lift up a little then I can only imagine that this massager is doing its job, otherwise I won't know.
Anybody else on here who hasn't felt anything or is getting no repsonse with this massager???
Thanks,

In place of the conductive gel i've tried the following:
Baby oil - DONT TRY IT! It doesn't last very long (my body just absorbs it...i'm dehydrated it would seem) and thus, you get ZAPPED rather than just feeling a pulse.
My PM cream (Mirifem) - not too bad...MUCH better than the baby oil...though I still looked for an alternative, which lead me to -
Garnier 'Body Tonic' Cellulite Gel - It has lipo-caffine in it (caffine is bad for NBE when ingested, but appartenly helpful externally) and smells awesome! *giggles*
I'm not sure where we're all living, I'm in Australia, but I have a feeling most of us are English or American, so i'm not sure if Garnier products are as widely sold where everyone else is as they are here, but i'm sure there are many similar products out there.
I'd be interested to see how the aloe-vera works out sissy "

I am actually using a pain relieving gel for muscle aches from Whole Food. It's called "Arnica Gel" and it's about $10 for 2.5oz and it's been working great for me.
If you are not getting any responses from the device, you might want to try turning it on higher by pushing the "On" button. It did took me awhile to figure out how to use it.

My journey -
The text you quoted was my post! hehe. Wow that makes me feel loved ;p
I do remember someone on that original topic mentioning they bought a similar device for toning, and it specifically stated not to use it on the breast area. I'm not saying our boobie massagers can't be used anywhere else...but perhaps we should buy the massagers intended for different areas...just to be safe.
To those who's massagers aren't working properly -
I agree with summerlilly..try turning it up. If that doesn't work, contact your eBay seller, and look at the listing for the item you purchased; perhaps they have a returns policy?

Hey Myjourney, No, I ordered conductive gel from ebay, you can get the same at amazon.com for 4.95 a tube, or probably a medical supply store. It's spectra 360 electrode gel. I have three tubes so it will last me for a long time. Did you ever get your massager working? If so, how do you like it so far? Rinoa gave great instructions!
As far as using it on other areas, I thought of that also, since I flatten mine and use it on top of the breast to work the muscles higher.

Hey Rinoa,
Thank you SO much for your instructions! Yesterday night, I had my first go and without reading your blurb, I would be so lost but luckily I had them! I tried again today and it's working very well!!
For those who can't feel something, just press the ON to power up and you're sure to feel something! I did get a shock a few times when I somehow hit it to cycle somehow and it went to another mode in the same strength and I was like :O LOL!!
It's lots of fun though and may I suggest NOT going for 30 minutes. Stick to what it says in the instructions for 2-15 minutes. I was fine last night when I did it for 15 minutes. But then when I went for 30 this morning, I got these little insect bite looking bumps on one breast that were really itchy so I had to wash it down with natural soap and soothe it with natural cream. I'm so ready for tonight's session. Yes. Stick to 15/20 minutes.
Much love to all,
