hello everyone
today, i received my kangzhu pump =)
I started pumping and 3 pumps later, my breast became VIOLET. PURPLE. not red, not pink but PURPLE ( i have extreme white skin..so you can imagine the color )
anyway, it freaks me out.
I pumped less harder and after 2-3 minutes, same thing : breast gets purple blue .
no sweling yet. what do i do ?

I find that mine turn like that too. Especially if I sit straight or lean forward. When I lie down in bed it takes a lot longer to turn purple.
I think it's normal, as long as you don't feel pain (I pump until I'm a bit uncomfortable but not pain, if I feel pain I release pressure and pump up to the just before pain threshold). You are filling your breast with blood and since you have fair skin (I do too!) it looks purple. The color fades within minutes of removing the domes. The red rings (where the cup touches the breast) for me stay around for around 2 hours but then fade also.
The first time I pumped I got little red dots on my boob, I don't know if it was from overpumping or just because my boobs are very sensitive and not used to pumping. Those red dots faded within a couple of days and I've not had them return.
Also use lots of lotion (there's tons of suggestions on here on what to use, I usually just use a hand lotion with some PM mixed into it) because that will help prevent stretch marks and will let your boob get sucked into the cup at the same rate from all sides, it's also easier to keep suction that way

YEAY! Congratulations on getting the kz cups!
I had the same experience when I first pump. And I did posted that it hurt, turned purple and even left hickey marks after.
It has been a week of pumping, all the discomfort I experienced the first three days aren't too bad anymore. I think it was just a matter of getting used to it.

Maybe the cups are a bit small?
If they feel tight and make you purple with no swelling that could be the problem?

I wanna bump this thread with a question of my own.
For the members that got results or great swelling from pumping, which is better, to have a condensed session of an hour to more or little sessions throughout the day?
I get great swelling when I have a condensed session but it doesn't last for more than an hour or two but when I have mini sessions of 7:2 or 15:2 through out the day, I maintain the swelling.

Condensed =)
I do 7:2 twice or three times a day when no one is around at home.. Which is every two-three days.

Hello,
As you should know I was the one introduced this KZ to everyone back last year at this forum.
I have stressed many times. Please do not put too much pressure when you pump. Once the cups are able to hang on on your breasts (no need to fill up the cup at the first month or so), then stop pumping, let it stay on for awhile till your breasts color turned normal (white). You will need to let your breasts get used to it (by increasing the elasticity little by little, don't overforcing it). If you overpump, it would leave the ring marks, damage your blood nerves & circulation around your breast area.
Good luck.
