Which method is more effective?

#1

....pumping for longer periods of time but fewer days out of the week, or pumping daily for shorter periods of time. If I had to choose one, which is better? I don't have tons of time to spend pumping, especially because I have to do each breast separately. This is because I cant fit both domes on at the same time, plus I am using the Kangzhu cups with the Noogleberry pump, which isn't compatible and only allows for one cup to be pressurized at a time.

Any advice appreciated. Thanks

Hi! Well some people have different opinions on this. But from my experience, I think taking a day off between pumping sessions works the best. Just like working out, your body needs time to heal/grow/repair. Since you're pumping each breast separately, you can either do every day and alternate Breasts (mon-left, tues-right, wed-left, thurs-right, ect.) That will give each breast a break. Or you could do every other day one breast at a time (Mon-pump Left then pump right, take Tues off, Wed- pump Left then pump Right, ect). Either way, as long as you give your Breasts a day off, I think you'll get better results than pumping every day.

There's several members on here that only pump like 2-3 times a week for 2-3 hours (with breaks). For instance, pump for 1/2 an hour, massage, and repeat. Or you could pump for longer before your break. I'm trying to find threads to show you what other members have done. I'll post again in a few min.

My first thought would be that a more frequent schedule would be best, but your logic actually seems more believable, Charlie. Taking breaks is probably a good idea. I know some pumpers have had good success taking even a month off every few months and I think that's probably a good idea. I've cut back on mine due to cold weather (too chicken to bare my chest) and air seal problems with my tubing and such, and gone a good while without doing any pumping. The advantage of this is I realized I have real and permanent growth since the volume remains well weeks after the last pumping. I think taking breaks may help a great deal in achieving solid gains.

Sorry for the delay, it's been busy around here!! Okay, I haven't had time to scan through other peoples progress threads that use noogleberry. I've done it before and I didn't bookmark them, so I'd have to do it all over again and honestly, I don't have time right now. But you can do that and just look for members who also use noogleberry (they can be all over the place though, not just in the "pumping" section). Check out the "Personal Programs" section and just go through it one by one when you have some free time.

JenniferLove has had amazing results with NBE. Very inspirational. Scroll through her pages though, she gives good tips and I *think* she changed her pumping schedule from the one she had on her first post. (I could be wrong). I think she only does it twice a week now. Her growth is amazing. Here's her thread: http://www.breastnexus.com/showthread.php?tid=17638

There are other members who've pumped every single day for months and months and have barely grown. And I really think it's because they're not giving their bodies adequate time to heal/repair/regenerate tissue.

Brava is every single day, but it's also at a lower steady pressure that's regulated. NB isn't regulated and it's more pressure, so you do it for less time.

I wouldn't take a whole month off until after about a year so you don't lose gains. Even then, I wouldn't suggest a month off. After you reach the size you want, I'd personally do like once a week or week and a half maintenance session. The longer you do pumping, the longer your breaks can be without losing gains.

Personally, I would do every other day for a while and see where that gets you. You can always bump to every day (but less time) and see if your growth speeds up or slows down or stalls or whatever Smile

Thank you Charlie and Wannabe for your replies. I will keep trying it every other day. I added in massage and that helped A LOT with swelling. Before doing this, I pumped daily for 30 mins for a little less than a Month and noticed a tiny bit more cleavage but never really had noticeable swelling. I'm excited to see what happens with the massage and increase in duration.
