Help :( Missed Period (Using Ainterol)

#1

I started taking Ainterol in late April. Started off with one pill a day. Once I noticed it was working, I started two pills a day. But there wasnt a significant increase with two pills. Im about the same size as I was with the one pill dosage. I'm very concerned about my missing period though. I think its getting close to 40 days since my last period. I dont want to mess with my body like this Sad Going to stop taking them today and will switch brands? Or will this happen with all PM products that are high dosage!??

Take a break. All PM is like that.

This is why a lot of people only use it for the first half of their cycle (and I've read that you're technically supposed to wait to start taking it until your period is finished, but not everyone does this). I don't know if you're taking it every day of the month, but it's best not to. The body naturally drops in estrogen so that it can have a period; when you're taking hormones like PM, that will disrupt your body's natural cycle.

Yes I was taking everyday, I had heard of cycling but didnt take it seriously. I really wish the website had advised this or at least warn females Sad I'm taking a break until my period starts, and maybe two days after period has started I will begin again. My periods are very regular and I have always had light periods, I'm hoping my body wont unleash an angry period on me for messing with the hormones. I don't want to know what cramps or heavy bleeding feels like.. No thank you Tongue

Update: Period still hasn't shown on and all the "growth" I had is gone. Boobs have gotten considerably smaller

This has happened to me as well. My period has come at the 43rd day, even though I have been using it only for the first half of my cycle. Definitely cycle! and then use a progesterone cream for your menstruation to come.
And I would not up the dosage, my boobs have become smaller after PM as well. Some girl here has advised me to stop the PM and use prog. cream or vitex. So I am trying this now.

Good advice Janny! I have this problem right now too Sad I forgot to use progesterone cream this cycle since I ran out so I bought vitex. Should that help me get my period right now or just wait it out?

Well, I think that through skin with progest.cream it would be quicker. So you just have to wait Smile
I am also quite musculative, so I am not sure whether it is not due to androgens in my body that I do not react very well to PM. Do u have the same problem or not? Smile

@Sweets

I think either way you'll need to wait it out, but Vitex will help balance things in the meantime, and add to your progesterone. So, I'd say yes, start the Vitex.

So I did take vitex for the next few days after posting that and I got my period on the 12th yay! Hopefully PM will be good for me, I already like the bonus side effects of no hot flashes, less oily skin and more lubrication Smile I think I just have low estrogen, gonna get a hormone test soon.
