Estrogen Deficiency

#1

I have been reading a lot of this information the past couple weeks, and trying to figure out what routine would work best for me. First of all, I took the hormone imbalance test, and I figured out I am estrogen deficient, excess androgens, and cortisol deficient. Can you help me out and tell me what herbs would be the best for me? I tried to search the old forum, but the only other post I found similar had no replies as everybody else seems to be estrogen dominant. First of all, I am 26 years old, 5'5", 115lbs, caucasian, and a 34B. I would like to be a full C though. Here is what I have planned:

Fenugreek - start at 1500 mg
Wild Yam - ?mg
Red Clover - small dosage
Flax Seed Oil - ?mg
Nettle Root - ?mg

I haven't found much info on how many mg's of wild yam, flax seed oil, and nettle root to take, so I will probably just follow the directions on the bottle to begin with. Then I plan on upping the dosage over time until I feel the effect, like has been suggested by others here. I also eat healthy, exercise regularly, and plan on doing the Chi massage with breast cream twice per day. Am I leaving anything else out?

One other question though, what is the best cycle to do for such herbs? Three months on, one month off?

Thanks so much ahead of the time ladies, you all seem so supportive to each other! I am so glad I found this!

Hi Corinsa! This sounds like a good plan so far however I would lay off the red clover completely altogether as whilst there are phytoestrogens in it there have been studies of menopausal and post menopausal women on red clover showing a great increase in testosterone which ofcourse in your situation will only hinder your progress here is a link to the study https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4678495/#:~:text=The effect of red clover on testosterone levels&text=To sum up%2C red clover,is shown in Figure 6.

As for flaxseed oil it is a GREAT addition to any program imho I use it for a massage in the mornings leave it on for hour or 2 and wash off and get great swelling I also take 3 1000mg at nighttime however Im not sure if upping it would be a good or bad idea as it is high in all 3 omegas and some people experience breakouts from it so you may want to research further and do your own experimenting however if you are looking for estrogenic properties in the FSO you may want to buy one that has "lignans" re added into it but FSO along with all omega fatty acid oils are good for those who experience hot flashes among other symptoms due to hormone imbalance due to the Gamma Linolenic acids found in them so even alone you might find it alleviating if you experience any side effects of your imbalance.

As for cycling thats not in my knowledge so I will let someone else answer, goodluck!  Big Grin" alt="Big Grin" title="Big Grin">

The effect of red clover on testosterone levels

Three trials (Geller et al., 2008 ; Hidalgo et al., 2005 ; Imhof et al., 2006 ) assessed the effect of red clover on testosterone levels in postmenopausal and peri- and post-menopausal women. Testosterone levels showed greater increases in red clover-treated patients, compared to the control groups
