amount of generic BO?

#1

Hi, everyone,

I have decided to switch from herbs to trying BO. I do have a major question, though. I have seen recommendations on this forum for as much as 1800-2000 mg of generic bovine ovary, whereas the BB pills have about 575mg per pill, and the recommended dosage is 2 per day. That would be a little over 1000 mg vs almost twice as much as recommended for generic.

Why?

I did buy the Ultra brand of Raw Ovarian which has 200 mg of raw ovary per pill. So theoretically, I should be taking as many as 10 of these per day?

I don't get the difference in dosage recommendations between Bountiful breast and raw ovary. Can anyone explain?

Also, I am 5 years past menopause and have used suction (Brava) for over a year with only about a 1" increase. I am sick of it.

Also, no results with herbs. Am on compounded T3/T4 thyroid.

Anyone?

Aren't miligrams miligrams, no matter what the formula? I just don't get the reasoning for the much higher dosage of generic ovary. I am afraid of overdoing it which is the reason I am wondering about the rationale.

According to BB their product is different than others because 'Bountiful Breast® is made from a patent pending proprietary formula consisting of bovine glandulars and kelp, the capsules are Nutripotentized with a homeopathic frequency.' This might be the reason why we don't need to take as much as the homeopathic frequency making it stronger than generic BO.

I saw that post on the website as well, but I was wondering who came up with the generic amounts and the reasoning for the rationale.

Anyone? Could someone who is taking large amounts of generic BO explain to me where they got the recommended amount from so I can understand?

I have cut out all herbs except for wild yam and saw palmetto and have been taking 3 200mg pills of generic BO for a week (total 1200mg) and other than the first 2 days where I felt some tingling, have noticed nothing. In fact, my tiny little boobs have actually shrunk after dropping the herbs.

I remember reading on a breast enhancement site to start with 1800mg of bo. I honestly don't remember the site, but I do take generic, and have for the past two months. My pills are only 150mg each, so I take 6 in the morning, and 6 in the evening. It's been wonderful for me. I did herbs earlier, and didnt have any success on them. I've had no side effects, and feel just wonderful. My breasts are getting full, and looking so much nicer. I'd up your dose a bit at a time....see what levels you need for growth.
Read through the program pages for the gals who are on bovine ovary, and successful. You'll find a lot of information and ideas.
Good luck!!

By the way, Bellalilly, the Ultra brand of raw ovarian is from cattle from Argentina, and I had no problem ordering it online for about $13 a bottle. A lot of online stores carry it.
