NB soft cup rings

#1

so am planning on buying a NB. I know a lot of users have found diff padding solutions to prevent the discoloration and indents, by using silicone and all, but am not a very technical person, i cant make stuff like that to save my life LOL. i havent even been in a hardware store for more than a couple of minutes, i need to be dragged there by my dad Tongue

So, i noticed on the NB website that they offer these soft cup rings, have any of you guys tried those? do they work well?

personally i have thrown away the soft rings i bought since they make it harder to pump and prevented me from having suction on my whole breast(from the base of the breast)

thanks sandy Smile

i just ordered my NB without the soft cup rings, why put in more money ahead of time when am not even sure am gonna need it. and based on what most people has said on the forum, the indentation problem usually appear in large cup sizes, and since i ordered the medium i dont have to worry about that yet Big Grin

That's true. You can also try to make your own rings like Mel did.You can check her thread about details.I forgot the title of the thread though.

searching, I used the foam rings because otherwise there is no way I could have even begun noogling. The cup would have rubbed against my ribs so much it would have been way too painful. If you are thin, I'd definitely recommend getting the foam rings. Twister-mama said a similar thing.

It is hard to get suction when you first start out . It is only now that I can just put on the cups and get suction straight away (with the use of clamps).

Clamps are also extremely useful for getting suction, and I would definitely recommend them.

yea sandy i saw the thread called padding solution, and i know its probably very easy, but you have no idea how bad i am at doing stuff like that, like zero knowledge, i would gladly pay double to have it made hehe Tongue

yep the foam rings are just the ones on the noogle site. you just pop them on to the cups, and they come off too. no glueing etc required.

Cheap way out - use camper tape. It works. It comes in a roll so you can replace it if you want.
I tried it and it worked but preferred no padding so I took it off. it left a lot of sticky on the dome. Had a balnkety blank time getting it all off. But like I said, it did work for me.
