Recommendations for Herb Pills

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi

When I first started creating my own NBE program I used to drink a lot of pills in either capsule or gel form or whatever form they came in.
As I read Eve' Program I saw she made teas.

Now whatever herb pill I now drink I first boil a full cup of water. After boiling I put the water back in the cup and open the pills or put the capsules in the boiled water for about 10 minutes and then drink it.

This is the only way my body does not smell.

does it work better than just swallowing pills, though?

I take liquid extracts instead of pills because I read that the body can absorb things better that way. And I definitely don't smell like fenugreek just from taking the liquid extract (but when I drink it as tea it's a different story!)

I think maybe some people's digestive systems don't break down pills and capsules very easily.

Tase really bad in tea form. Just a suggestion: it tastes exactly like celery, and its gross. The extract is much better, but tastes like stale coffe, so i guess it's kinda nasty either way....but hey, do whatch gotta do for NBE! Smile

Hi

That is true the teas don't taste that great but I have gotten used to it. Also after I drink the tea I don't burp or have gas with it. This is what works best for me. My body is quite sensitive to herbs and I treat the herbs with full respect and consider them in a way to be prescriptive drugs when I use them.
I have not tried the liquid extracts yet (in the herb store I go to they are quite expensive probably because they are so concentrated). But I might consider it in the future.

Wish you the girls the best success.

Are teas just as effective for NBE? I am new to this concept and this sounds very interesting.

Hi sorry for the late response but I have been working overtime.

Do the teas work better than drinking pills?

Always remember that people response or react differently but I assume the response is about the same.
It shouldn't matter that much between pills or teas. What is different is my body smell in drinking pills & teas.
I react much better to the teas in the smell area.

I should add for the record that I stopped taking the liquid extract forms of the herbs because they were doing NOTHING for me. As soon as I switched to pills I can feel all kinds of things happening in my body.

But I do not understand why! Mysteries!

Also I have read online that just drinking the tea-bag form of some different herbs will not be as effective. Apparently some herbs don't dissolve in water, so drinking the tea doesn't have the potent herb in it. But I still supplement my routine with teas.
