Gender: Female
Age: 22
Height: 5'4"
Weight: 110lbs was what I weighed the last time I weighed myself which was about 3 months ago.
Bra size: 32B or 34A(though I do not fill out a 34A completely even though they're sister sizes)
Goal: 34B at least, but wouldn't mind a 34C
No children.
Body Type: I have always been on the thin side. Even though I was thin, my body was proportionate...except my boobs! (and my arms). My body was thin, but my arms were thinner. I was unhappy with my body and decided to do something about it.
I started weight training January 2011. When I first started I weighed 100lbs, and was considered underweight. I managed to gain 10lbs of muscle, bringing me up to 110lbs - the most I've ever weighed. That brought me just above the BMI scale and was now average. Granted that was about 3 months ago, so I do not know how much I weight I've gained (we do not keep a scale at home). However, my body looks a lot better, looks proportionate (including my arms!), and looks more feminine. Though I would still like to gain more weight, tone up some more, and grow some boobs.
Diet: I try to consume a lot of protein and eat as healthy as possible, though I do have a sweet tooth and treat myself everyday.
Workout regimen: Since I'm prone to getting thin, I keep my cardio to a minimum. Once or twice a month I do plyometrics or run 1 mile. I weight train 3-6 times a week for 30-60 min. Though it's usually 3x, the extra 3 are for when I'm in the mood or for when I want to focus on an area again to get faster results.
Even though I weight train, I DO NOT workout my chest contrary to what is commonly said. My husband is a very ripped man, so I do take his advice. Weight training the chest is probably good for girls who have droopy or saggy breasts. But for girls like me, it is best to avoid it. Yes, losing weight overall can reduce your breast size. However, we believe that the more chest muscle you have the more fat it's going to burn, especially in that area. Take for example fitness celebrities like JNL who weight train their entire body including their chest. They end up getting breast implants.
I'm not sure how, but to me the proof is in what I see. Since weight training I've managed to gain 10lbs of muscle. My arms, legs, butt, hips, etc are bigger/toned/shapely, my stomach is flatter (& I thought my stomach was already flat) and I feel and look more feminine. And somehow, somehow, my boobs are still the same size they were before I started training, even though I have less fat in the rest of my body. Could it be that I'm not weight training my chest?
I started my program on July 30, 2011
Program
ANYTIME
1 protein shake (I take a shake everyday whether I workout or not. But on days that I do workout, I drink it right after I'm done with my workout.)
AFTERNOON
1 prenatal vitamin
NIGHT
10 min massage
1 fenugreek pill 1 - 610mg
2 gelatin/collagen pills - 778mg each = 1556mg
My breasts started to feel fuller.
Note* I was taking my vitamin at night along with the other pills but I started spotting/bleeding even though I already had my period. So I started taking my vitamin in the afternoon and that fixed the problem.
Program Modification - August 2, 2011
I decided to add an extra fenugreek pill and space out my regimen so my body could have somewhat of a constant dosage of pills throughout the day. Massage time was also increased.
Program
ANYTIME
1 protein shake
Morning
15 min massage
1 fenugreek pill - 610mg
1 gelatin/collagen pill - 778mg
AFTERNOON
1 prenatal vitamin
NIGHT
15 min massage
1 fenugreek pill - 610mg
1 gelatin/collagen pill - 778mg
Note* Did some research and found that stretch marks are a sign of zinc deficiency. So I'm doing well in taking my vitamins just in case.
